Not been around much recently, been working on trading using 4h charts as I haven't got so much time to be looking at the shorted TFs.

This is a GU trade that I entered at 15.23 GMT going to let it run and see where it wants to go.

I'm also in a AU trade that I entered on the 23rd Jan 1st TP level was at 100 pips again going to let it run.

well, EU was the same thing I look for with previous day fibo-r 38% and 50% ... worked out...with 200EMA and RN confluence +/- 20pips

yes mate, fibs, 200 ma, rn... all good, but no retest? no base? just shoot up in straight line? i am wondering if it was a healthy rise...

that's a monthly tf. and yes, it is very valid, but the real question is... how would you have played it using smaller tf. me personally lost so much money with that pair 3 years ago with that monthly chart.

p.s. that's another form of accumulation phase.

Does anyone know of an indicator which allows the number of pips between given points to be measured, for instance the total height of a candle including wicks.

I used to use a fib tool supplied on a different platform, and the number of pips between levels was displayed.

I can't find a way of doing this on MT4, it would be a great help to set stop loss or target levels

If you select the crosshair tool at the top & click & drag on your chart between the 2 points it gives you the number of pips

Hi Lumbco,

Also, If you draw a Trendline and pickup the line again, you will see that will give you an angle plus the pips, you also have the trendline by angle, if you select the menuinsertlines and select whatever you need.

Hello lovebies.

My New start (I am trying to start fresh and I woul like to share it here as I am using LE1 method). I hope I can help myself and otehr newbies as well as learn from seniors comments.

a new small micro account and new rules.

I gonna work on my discipline more than the method.

My rules
1. more weight to HTF
2. only 4 pairs
3. only 2 trades during LO
4. no more trades if both become losers.
5. one trade if they are BE
6. SL not more than 15 pips even if against the basic rules of the system
7. no SL widening
8. SL move to BE after 15 pips gain
9. no chnages (no more trades or increase of size) until doubing the account or burning it.

Here is my chart on Eur/USD & USD/CHF.

good luck mate, this time you can start off wiser. just remember tokeep your discipline.

I ahvent been posting much on here but i still have a look around. i am still using le1s method but i have altered t slightly to suit me so i wont post the charts here

Dear Fxrobinhhood,
Good to know that you commit yourself with LE1's method. If you are newbie, please only focus on basic setups (trade way from 200EMA) with confirmations by Arjun candle, TDI, RN, TL, Fib, PPA, major S/R, etc (the more confluence, the higher probability) until you master it (consistently profitable).
About your chart, I don't trade USD/CHF so I have no idea but on the EU chart I see you took a CT trade which are very risky (my viewpoint only) unless you have your consistent logics.

If you have a look at my journal you will notice that my AC has multiplied by nearly 5 times by early of Jan but when I take more CT trades then it falled down freely without break until nearly coming back to the starting point of 3 months ago. Up-to-now, I've still not mastered basic setups yet Lol.

If you are experienced trader, please just ignore my post.

Will EU bounce from here, or pause. Lots of confluence and pinbars. HTF down, though.
