Not so much these days. If I like the level I'll just jump in. The GU short you can see I got in early but there was nice level above.

My stop was 7 pips instead of 6... but I wouldn't normally move it unless there's a protective level nearby.

I miss it. Because I think the GBP just make a HH, and consider it a uptrend, so did not sell it.

I seriously recommend throwing all of these out your trading toolbox. Think about it.. If 95% of traders fail and 95% use the above technical analysis methods, why would we want to use them??

Big money has to manipulate the market in order to get filled on their orders. How many times do you see a false trend line break or pattern failure? The only thing we need to know is where the big money is buying and selling....
Hmm I agree with you on these points and only an experience trader can say a thing like this. Although, it depends on which trader you are because I know of some traders who use these tools to rake thousands of pips on 4H and D1 timeframe monthly. But unfortunately, I have not hard success with technical indicators and that makes me think those are not the kind of trading method for me.
Now back to this method- my current brokers spread on EU is 1.9/2 pips. Can you recommend for me a higher time frame to get into trade that can yield at least a minimum of 15 to 30 pips per trade because I know the higher the TF, the more pip to expect. I have not started trading it yet because am still trying to get a basic understanding of the system. Cheers.

i just add triple EMA (80 H,C,L) as the filter to see momentum candle bar inside M1 GU

I just noticed TP got missed by 0.1pip when I got back.. Needed it to cover my possible short runner for later today Not going to close it manual at this price..

Edit: Slight mistake from my side. Misplaced TP when marking demand area. Hit 5M demand to the pip. Managed to manually TP my first position nonetheless for +10. 2nd stopped at -5. Overnight position(yes, bought at R but was building short term fresh demand just beneath) TP'ed to the pip so whatever

here example of today trade PA cross the line with strong momentum +30 pips

Looks interesting. Will have to take a look.

Took half off at 30 pips. Was an M1 entry and price ha just touched a sloppy looking H4 demand.
