It wasn't that great of a film anyway.

to each his own i guess. To me it's the best film there is. A living trading legend.

Just watched it, have to say hè did well, so to speak afterwards. He could also have blown everything he had by the time he was 35. little bit arrogant, which imo is confirmed by the fact that hè wants all copies removed, or is he embarrassed knowing that it was foolish luck at that time and the way he trades/invests now and made his real fortune on is far different from what's in the video?

i liked the full movie because i enjoy trading, but as others have noted it is not very educational.

I suppose. It's always bothered me how reckless his trading habits are in the video though - pbb's post reflects my thoughts largely. Some people get lucky and then figure out that they were lucky and change, while others blow it all and you never hear of them again.

Over the years I have had various links to this saved. It never fails, his people find it and have it removed from the net. I have watched this film many times and I am always fascinated by his trading and his life. He has paid, through his foundation, for many poor kids to go to college through the years. He is definately a person to look up to.

I don't see how anyone can assume that his trading success was ever or is somehow owed to luck. He started his fund with 300k. He was short for the 87 crash. Not in cash like Cramer, but short. His fund is now in the five billion range and his personal net worth is over 3.5 billion. Nobody is THAT lucky. He said he wanted the film removed because he felt that it was edited in a way that made him look reckless. His associate in that film Peter Boorish is still kicking and succeeding on Wall Street as well.

Those who lose are pathetic
Those who break-even are "hey... you poor wanna-be"
Those who "REALLY" make "REAL" money have "high degree of luck"
