I have been with Exness for almost a year. I am leaving when I have figured out where to go.

Sure, they advertise low spreads, *say* they welcome scalpers etc. I constantly have problems putting in pending orders as for example, just now they require 80 pips difference between market price and pending order on EURAUD!! This is not uncommon. Ditto problem with putting in SL - I have seen them require 120 pips difference. It's absurd. That's how they deter scalpers and even day traders but just do it in an underhand way.

Maybe someone can recommend to me where to go? I'd like low spreads across the majors, at least 400:1 leverage and stp preferably.
jen101, I scalp with EXNESS also thats why I took notice of your post. Actually I trade other pair, so I just looked for your australians on their website for finding out, what stop level they have for euraud. So the stop level is not 120 pips but 8 points. And believe me dude, that`s not a lot at all, some brokers set up stop level about 3-4 spreads, try to scalp there)) IMHO if you are interested only in these conditions you've just described, you better stay trade with this broker...

Having encounter that before and according to helpdesk its due to "provider liquidity issue".

Anyway, now i mostly scalp at low spread broker hiroseuk.

Downside of it is not using MT4

I trade 0.50 lots on average, slippages are more frequent than on MM accounts.
Spreads of course are better on ECN even if we include commission in spread.
But what I noticed is that during Asian session if we include commission into ECN spreads then they are almost the same as spreads on Classic account. After London gets up ECN spreads become better.
That's good to know, im still trading with Exness but with the micro account + commission. I was thinking about switching to ECN but since I only trade in asian session where there is sometimes not much liquidity, I will just stick with micro.

If I were you I'd preferred ECN coz' spreads+commission are better on ECN compared with Mini account.

Do you have screenshots of those stop levels? 80, 120 pips, you said? Ok, I will believe you if you provide a screenshot.

According EXNESS website stop levels for eur/aud is 8 pips, not 80 pips. https://www.exness.com/forex/specifications#tab_mini

If you do not like stop level, what about ecn account? you will not have stop levels, you will be able to put any pending order without obstacles.

really? don't you think that such a statement requires more proofs than just a feeling? I mean, bro, I'm interested in them too, so I would like to know is there some serious thing or you just came across some unpleasant coincidences..

there are rare slippages when market moves fast cause of a bunch important news, but as I notice it always works in usual way: you can get money in slippage of limit pending order and loose in slippage of stop pending order.

If you are a profitable trader then I strongly recommend opening account with EXNESS.
They have never put any obstacles; they have never done anything to stop your closing profitable trades.
Other broker always requoted me to close a profitable trade that drove me crazy.
Their platform is stable and secure.
In addition, you get your withdrawals fast and they send you money fast.

my acc. is mini account.
i use always 1 standard lot.
I use always instant execution with max.deviation 10 pips.
profitable trades are closed always at the previous tick.
loss trades are closed always at the current tick.

Actually sometimes its possible to profit from the large spread. For example if closing a long trade, since its the bid drawing the chart, you can get a commission on a virtual price wich is higher (the ask).
If you aim for the stars- but miss, you still get the moon...

I gave my opinion because it was asked for. If you are questioning my integrity then I'll keep my opinion to myself; it's no skin off my nose. It seems like there are a lot of people on here very defensive of Exness. I wonder if they are affiliated in some way; Exness have been pushing very hard on their marketing and of course would not welcome any negative comments. Believe what you like.

The thing is when you post such 'amazing' figures on forexfactory it is better to post screenshots as well if you want people to believe you.
Perhaps sicne it is using 5 digits, so 1 pips in 4 digits is 10 pips in this case, especially for those who not familiar with 5 digits

the numbers are 1.34819 and 1.34939. The difference is 0.0012.

I got the definition of the pip from investopedia.com:

Pip is the smallest price change that a given exchange rate can make. Since most major currency pairs are priced to four decimal places, the smallest change is that of the last decimal point - for most pairs this is the equivalent of 1/100 of one percent, or one basis point. For example, the smallest move the USD/CAD currency pair can make is $0.0001, or one basis point. The smallest move in a currency does not always need to be equal to one basis point, but this is generally the case with most currency pairs.

So according to this definition we have 12 pips.
