Have you noticed that the GBP/USD GBP/JPY has shown a much lower volatility for interday?

what could be the potential reason for this? The GB gouvernment intervention?

Volatility has been lower for most pairs (and most world markets for that matter) for a while now.

Christ, just look at the VIX:

Makes me wish I was more into options trading, buyers market right now on volatility premium.
