because today German ZEW Economic Sentiment was good for EUR and Core Retail Sales (MoM), Existing Home Sales was bad for USD.

so economical speaking .....from 22.01.2013 hour 17:00 until next big news 24.01.2013 hour 15:30 Initial Jobless Claims for USD....

its hard to say at this situation, for me ZEW and Home sales are already in a past tense, we are back to Monday lvl. Maybe Thursday German Flash Manufacturing PMI (forecast 47. 1 previous 46.0), USD Unemployment Claims (forecast 359K previous 335K) and Friday news German Ifo Business Climate (forecast 103.1 previous 102.4) and Prelim UK GDP q/q (forecast -0.1% prevous 0.9%) and US New Home Sales (forecast 387K prevous 377K) will tell us.
Tho GBP is not so corelated with EUR these days, i dont know if we should take it into account line. Germans news is expected better than it was, USD unemployment is worse than expected, maybe it will play in favor of EUR.

I read something like that by other traders about EW...they have difficulty to know in which wave they are...

It's not easy, to be sure. It's all about pattern recognition and either you have a brain that can do that easily or it takes some training before you can do it.

first question you ever ask me was what my EW opinion was... i studied EW for 2 years and most of it imo is a waste... the ONLY way imo to survive in these markets is to NOT have a bias nor to keep forecasting... and EW unfortunately does both of that...

screw EW... trade the charts... you will do better.. or if you use EW for an idea - leave it at that... an idea

until I say its over will study.
my advantage is I can code & BT different algos.
this makes things faster.
my guess in 4 weeks or so will have a better clue.
if fails will back to my trading. its ok. I have no issues. but now EW messed up my desecions.
until say yes/no will wait

the issue is not the count
I can count multi chart
no issues about it.
the issue is there is no proper waves to count @ FX charts according to book count.
very rare.
the rest is mess according to count algos.
all corrections zig zags blah blah

EUR/USD intraday: under pressure. Pivot: 1.337

Our preference: Short positions below 1.337 with targets @ 1.327 & 1.3245 in extension.

Alternative scenario: Above 1.337 look for further upside with 1.34 & 1.3435 as targets.

Comment: as long as 1.337 is resistance, look for choppy price action with a bearish bias.

PA hasn't looked too good for the bulls especially in the shorter TF. Daily still holds bullish, but due the PA in the shorter TF creating LL, this bullish pattern can be erased depending on how the market reacts below 3300
