Will pay well for skilled EA programmer, very advanced EA

I will pay well for a skilled programmer to complete this EA.

It is a moving average cross with partial take profits involving bollinger bands.

It really shouldn't be too complicated but everyone I have talked to so far doesn't know how to do it.

Please post here if you are interested and I will get you all the details for what the EA needs to be able to do.

Partial take profits is never easy in MQL4.. PM me if no one else responds, but I will charge premium rates.

I'm interested... Looks easy indeed... closing partial profit shouldn't be a big issue... the real issue being "how profitable can be such a simple system?"

Partial take profits are not a necessity but would be nice to prevent losses during choppy markets. This will cause the strong trend moves to not be as profitable, but that is fine, as long as losses aren't happening during choppy markets, then one would be able to increase lot size to compensate for taking half profit so early in a trend.

Very. I trade it manually to great effect, but then again, I have my own tweaks to it.

The reason is because I know where to take profit before the next crossover happens. If the strategy is just to go crossover to crossover, the profit will be very minimal. And if its on an m1 chart, the profit will be non existent, simply using crossover for open position and close position (m1 is too choppy)


Another thing that would be great is if the EA could do full size when a higher time frame agrees, and do half size position when the higher time frame disagrees. This will be a HUGE factor in making the EA profitable.

Profitability is of no concern to me. Correctness of the code is my number one concern. My rate is the same regardless of the profitability of the EA. Not to be a wet blanket, but a profitable manual system cannot always be translated to a similarly profitable automated one.

You are right about that. It may not be as profitable as manual.

Still it will be worth it to try.
