That would be a good start. Longer term could be 170. If G/U can make it to 1.70 and U/J to 100.00 it brings G/J to the 38 fib in the 170 area. Of course, a couple things will have to happen before that can occur. The yen will have to keep weakening (with U/J going up), and the equity markets will have to stay moderately bullish (with G/U going up mainly because of dollar weakness). If we have those two factors, G/J going to 170 during the next few months seems reasonable to me.

Hello Guys i have returned after long long time.
where i see Yen will be waeken rill 92 usdjpy
its long term analysis means GBPJPY can reach 155-160.. soon few weeks or 2-3 months lets see it if it works
about EURJPY may cross 120.oo also.

JUst wait for the retrace USDJPY may retrace 100 pip its normal that will be very good time to go long and hold
.
most of traders just take 2-50 Pips, but this time i think you should hold it for 155.00 put small lot and just put the target and and forget..
anyways that my strategy is simple if i see over bought or over sold i hedge the position and wait for retrace and when it is done then i open the hedge.

So, PA broke resistance at 142.73 and has continued up. I am looking for 145.39. Got 6 trades entered at 142.70. PA is hesitating at 143.17. what are the chances it will continue?

I suppose that I can say that it is "music" to my ears too. I think that once pa gets past 145.39 then the chance of 163 is very good.

Now, everybody is long. That means it's good time to short. Also check 2001 Jan. 14. there was a nice pull back 1000 pip or lower as a correction then the trend resumed.

Should be careful over here...

There may be a retrace but in the long run the bias is up. So i still will look for 145.39, and then 147 and eventually 163 and taking trades along the way. Right now there is more certainty that the trend is still up, but one needs to trade with the expectation that the trend may shift with bad economic news from Britain. So as long as pa consolidates and stays below 141.5 yes a short may give you profit. Just don't see a monstrous decline as you mentioned. At least not right now. I hear that if price drops below 139.5 then it shows pa has topped and is going down.

The decisions one has to make...

On Monday, I am going short, take profit 1,000 pips, then going long for 8,000 pips, correct?

Too easy, but I better be careful also....?

There are some news in this week. Should be careful cos, it's extremly overbought.

I just trade 40-50 Pips, so i realy do not care if it drops 1000 pips or goes up 8000 pips
