i'm with interactive brokers - expains the diff. good trade btw - have you revised sl to entry?

Trade ended at BE although at peak up 10 pips.

Also shorted at 70 got out at + 7 todays net +5 1% trading was tough today semi selective trades need to do better

A little note about managing trades in this case price went down to 56 so being up 13 doesn't mean you have to give all back taking 7 1/2 pops equals 1 1/2% it's all about accumulating money right?

I took the short also. Out at -6 pip.
I did not do a very good job of managing the trade.
I was very indecisive about what I was going to do for some reason.
I think it was because I was unsure of taking the trade in the first place!

I was looking to move to B/E at 10 pip, almost had it. I thought it might give another push down so I held on.
When I thought of taking partial profit it was to late, already back at B/E. Should have just closed then.

Oh well, on to the next!

I thought peeps were taking bad trades earlier so i came home and made a chart, but when i just reread the thread turns out we shared in the profits today.

GL, actually after reviewing yesterday, 75 short at 10 am would be a proper and win entry good for 19-20 pips. (75 number and 23.6 fib)

FX, this shows that the third part of Wait-Execute-Manage is the most important.

Many of us had the same entry, but outcome is different....

I didn't put that because of the lows 70 lows that occured between 8:30 and 9:30. That area could have been the sessions low. I prefer to take the trade after the break of that area.

I am seeing consolidation (a tight range of approx. 22 pips).
I would like to see a break out and retest before entering.

I only see 2 potential trades in that mess.
The first you might have got 15 if you were able to hold during a small draw down.
The second you might have been able to go for a 10 pip trade to the bottom of the range.

Just to messy for me. I am going to catch some sleep (2:30 am for me) and see what the early US session has to offer.
