Keep your Chin up Cubby, trading is never black and white. Try not to make it that way. Some times you will have stinker opening to a week and close out strong. other times its a week of master trades. (miners touch) As mentioned just stick to your plan and don't let it get to you mentality. as soon as you start to over think about making money and the losses you have made, the hole is already being dug. Just stay cool calm focused and concentrate on prime set ups that follow your system.

EURUSD is in a hella range as mentioned at the moment....

I did not expect these responses. Thanks for the words of encouragement.

I just got off the phone with my client and we both agree that ever since I opened this thread my performance has suffered in trading.

We're not sure if it was just a few unfortunate days of trading or if it was because I was distracted and under pressure.

I think if I want to save this account. I need to concentrate and put down the distractions. I will be taking down the account from myfxbook for now. I may put it back up in another month or so but for now I need to hunker down.

My trade today was positive and the account is still very salvageable. I'm currently down 10%. There are 20 trading days left of this month. If things go as planed I will have 20 days of positive trades putting me at +10%.

Again, I know this type of trading is unconventional but I will stick to the plan and not waver or change what I'm doing unless told to do so.

Good decision. You don't need the noise.

Best thing to do! Some traders (including me) whenever I try to post my signals my performance drops.....I really can't pinpoint why, could be that I subconsciously become too cautious (witch could be a minus sometimes) or the noise of posting, the extra stress....whatever....
Since you are trading a live account this is the smartest decision, concentrate....

You posted your system, tried to help traders.....let who ever is interested in the system do there homework....you did more than enough

Good Luck!

Well I can certainly understand why you would feel this way. But the facts are if you are following your plan and you didn't change or miss any of your trading plan steps then this nuisance thread did not cause the problem.

The real problem is that trading that kind of system is akin to trading a modified martingale. I have tried at least 100 different tp/sl combinations testing in EA's of all kinds from 1:1 up and into the 1000's SL and there's just no way around it, the market will find a way to hit that stop more than you would like. I still wish you all the luck and fortune possible and hope to see you back here boasting a million dollar account for your friend.

Now this is a very good well thought out observation in my opinion.

The fact Cubby has removed his account from public viewing indicates that he changed his trading plan (thru public pressure), however I don't believe he did.

Unfortunately this thread will die without a Trade Explorer or MyFXbook link to the trading account in my opinion.

I still think that if you are following your plan, that having a link to your account is irrelevent.

Well, yeah i know for a fact that having a link to myfxbook will not deteriorate your trading results if you are following your plan. Whoever think otherwise should read more about hedge funds which trades billions of dollars and at the same time under the scrutiny of the media and the finance masses. If they are good traders they would do good if they are bad traders they would do bad.

I am still with my firm position that you would need to create a system which at least has 1:1 ratio. Well thats just my thoughts. What do i know....i am still a newbie

All the best ya.

Jerry, you are a dead set loser.

First you bag Cubby, and say you will not return to his thread, then hey presto, here you are back again, sticking him with your knife, and pumping yourself up as God's answer to noob traders... you are only out to achieve one thing Jerry... to scam noobies in any way you can.

Anybody who fall's for your crap and messages you for your "magnificent" breakout strategy will get the losses they deserve when you charge them for your (lack of) trading knowledge.

Common guys, he is trading his buddy's money....that is not a responsibility....!?
To a beginner pro trader that can be a big emotional hurdle......

But even if we forget about the emotional hurdle any trader who trades professionally or with big amounts of money(or money he cannot afford to lose) should know that for some traders any distraction can't affect there trading.....and in the case of Cuddybgood one mistake costs 10% of the account......

So he should listen only to himself and what he thinks is right.....he only knows what he is going through....everyone else is not in his situation, they are just talking....

Chubby,

Well, it was great to follow along when it lasted in public. No worries, keep doing what you are doing. Just drop by from time to time to let us know how it went. I do have a question, how long have you traded this strategy before you posted here? I'm still interested to see if 10 pip TP and 100 pip TP system can really work. I don't think there is a "right" way to trade. If a system is profitable, I don't care if it is 1 pip TP and 100 pip SL, I'm always open minded to new things.

The link isnīt working longer !
Looks like a Sl of 100 pips and a Tp around 10 pips is the wrong way.
If you really want to trade successful , better start the Choros thread watching.
