indeed this is a great explanation of setup, this is the kind of explanations that lights us up, clear our way of seeing things.

Before on your daily chart, I would thing that the PA could go up to 1.6065 and the 10EMA will still look down, will not tell me if it is gonna go up or down.woudnt know.

but ur expalnations on the following charts, explains clearly how to see things better, not just the plain H4>H1>15M setup.

According to the rules if you help just one person it’sworth doing, so good work.

I know this was just a quick example outside of trading hours but let’s say if other traders shared their opinions like it’s a Friday candle so wait or look ahead to next week on the FF Calendar some people don’t evenknow you can navigate the calendar.

Basically all the little things you pick up that make you a better trader that’s your experience that’s what you share it does not change the system it shows how you work it, each trader will take what they need from others experience and they are all valuable.

i'm not tdi police or wats.....this is my biz and running as traders full time.

Im not disagreed with you and jordfx ...you're ma police and more expirences also a professional traders... Looks likes i got to solute both of you due to your posted more than 1000 post...i.m just 35....however i sticks with my trading plan and always follow my rules .

As far as im concern even tdi is lagging indicators but its a hibrid indicator indicate market condition related to trend direction,momentum and market volatility .....an "all -in-one " indicator . Thats why im use it with average price bar "heiken ashi" where its 1. Provide a better depiction of current market . 2. Reveal market strenght & consolidation 3.eleminate fluctuation of nominal price action and 4. Remove the noise of price distortion of the underlying trend.

Finally i'm just ok , you can write and post whats ever you like here , you can ignore me too...does'nt matter.. As long as we makes a consistent profit now and in the future.......... My level now still at belief my rules and do the best on consistency make a profit.

Once again i'm respect both of you and wish you all becoming professional traders soon.

Trade well , follow your rules and stay focus.

Ok buddy. Here you go. These my thoughts regarding the weekend exercise. Hope it helps.

N.B..with respect to the thread strategy rules...you should only start searching for short( even long setups around the 50 and/or 200ema after those candle closes above the 10ema and BRN.

Hey buddy. What I mean is that when trading live, at the critical decision making points, there are lots of times that the green crosses the red, and because we're trying to catch the move early, we enter at once, (which is correct as per the thread rules), unfortunately the very next candle close takes the green line right back over the red! And when backtesting, the initial 'cross' is no longer evident. It's now looking like a 'bounce'!!! This could give rise to a lot of 'fake' signals. And if you decide to wait for candle confirmation of the 'cross' before entry, most of the move is already over as scalping breakouts are usually fast and furious!(unfortunately this is the achilles heel of most indicators). This is not so much an issue with swing trades though.

please tell me something, I noticed that u when drawing the TL, u ignore the wicks and pass the TL by only the candle real body, is there a special reason for it?

Very good observation! I was waiting for somebody to ask that. Drawing trendlines can become a very subjective thing if you have wicks all over the place. So only draw trend lines using only CLOSING PRICES. This is better seen by using a line chart instead of CandleStick Charts, and connecting PEAKS AND DIPS. Like so...

"This is the only time it really matters."

Think about it. What truly separates the greats from the rest? It’s equally easy for everyone to think right and act right when things are going right. And this means that how they think when things aren’t going right is the only difference. It’s the real “secret”.

So from now on, don’t look at the bad times as unfortunate events that are happening to you. Rather, look at them as the only times that truly matter. How you handle these times will shape your trading and your life. Look at it as the goal. And accept the challenge.

I was reading Ziad and Awais blog on opentrader last month and when I read this post it made me think 2013 would be the year i'm gratefull for what I have not what I desire.

P.S. This isn’t just nice sounding theory. I’m currently going through some personal adversity in my life where things have gone very off plan. The greatest lesson I learnt from this thread is the plea to help the needy and less priveleged as we become more successful traders. That is why I am so desirous of helping struggling traders and newbies also to become more profitable. Their families will be the better for it. Their societies will be the better for it. And world might be a better place for us all and generations to come. It might not be much, but it's the little contribution I can make towards this lofty ideal. I know some have taken advantage of this sentiments to try and play on our collective intelligence, but non-the-less, it is a worthy aspiration for us all.
