Ultimately you can do what you want, but to me, this is bouncing around the middle of the channel and there may even be a chance that you would still be holding a short from a few weeks ago. I would not be looking to go long right about now.

I am still long nzdjpy.. nice 80 pips, but I think that you will be cutting yourself short if you don't try to get as much out of each trade as you can. Checking weekly and monthly resistence is important, and I would not worry about eurasu short. That is in a huge uptrend. I would be looking for the entry back up off the lower trend line.

I decided to just take a long extended break over the holiday season so I'm now back in the flow. I'm going to go back and get caught up on the last few pages of the thread and then I will be good to go. After doing some thinking over the break I had to come to the conclusion that I have to continue to scalp for the time being. Since my trading account is not adequate enough to trade strictly off the daily charts (boy I can't wait until it is) I have to continue to scalp to build up my account.

Chat later as I need to start reading to get caught up on the thread.

I don't know that it matters, but you can trade 20 pairs on the daily chart with a 1:50 leverage for 800 to 1000 dollars, and that is with the ability to martingale a few trades if you ever have to get that far. So, maybe you don't need as much money in your account as you think you do. Just thought that I would mention it.

Yes, I remember you saying that in the past but I'm not in that situation yet. I currently have less than $20 in my trading account. I just wanted to be part of this thread because it is how I want to be trading when it's all said and done. I'm still going to be part of this thread on a active basis. I will just scalp to grow my account and try to deposit funds as I get them.

I have read this thread a few times but am still unclear on how you draw the Trend line - i.e. the candles you choose to connect. Would really appreciate if you could explain it once again.

I h ave decided to share my secret in the first thread. I wan't sure if I wanted to, but what the heck. It really not be that much of a secret anyway, but I know that no one else I know of draws trendlines like this. Enjoy, I hope you like it and would love to see some of your chart examples when you feel up to it!

Did you get a chance to reset your order? I know it was hard with the holidays around, but I try to make it a practice to either reset an order that gets stoped our or recalculate the location and then set the order as long as all other trading conditions are good. Not to worry though. With these big moves that happened recently, we should have plenty of setups to look forward to.

Nothing new to report today. It was hard to catch all moves with the holidays and the large gap, but there are plenty of trades in the making.

How is the trading coming along for everybody? I've been focusing my trading so far this week on scalping as I'm undercapitalized for this method right now. I'm up 29.81% so far this week so I'm having a very nice week. My goal is 10% profit per month so I'm doing great thusfar.

Don't forget that today is NFP and trading during the time the numbers are released is can be very dangerous so be very careful.

We arn't quite at set-up points yet. So I guess I would say that I am enjoying the fact that I don't have to scalp. LOL You mentioned that you have a very small account which means your risk is above what you might normally do. Watch your mindset and how it changes to using that kind of risk as your account gets much bigger.. LOL For me, it was like learning to trade all over again.Good luck bro!

Haha...good one! Actually I'm risking 2% per trade, based on a 20 pip stop loss. So my risk is still very reasonable, at least I think so. Yeah as my account grows, I want to lower my risk to 1% risk per trade based on a 20 pip stop loss. Thanks for the concern and well wishes though. I soak it all up like a sponge.

I'm done trading for the day now and the week also. I surely can't wait until the days when I don't have to scalp and can sit back and chill like you have been. I think next week will provide some signals for you to pounce on.
