Video #1 of Jerry (jperl) video's from Traders Laboratory is about Newbie loosing a trade - not using VWAP.
It was too big to upload - I'll send a link later on.

Relating VWAP method to Forex is a decision of StartHour.
Good StartHour parameter settings are:
Daily
London Open
NY Open
Tokyo Open
London/NY overlap.

Play with it for a few days till next year...

Current live trade - EURUSD - using VWAP + Gadi_Currencies.
EUR & USD are on the opposite sides of the 0 line.
Diff start to move up.
PA close to VWAP with an UP direction.

+15 pips with close trailing on M15 chart.

gg i cannot see the market statistic indicator on your chart... am i missing aything ?

The EA that you ask has not yet developped in this thread, others indis you may find in post 1.

The purple line on the main chart is VWAP indicator.
The others are not shown because of the large chart scaling.

It uses almost all the logic and techniques that already posted and explained - as one coherent strategy and not Gadi_OBV breakout alone.

Later on I'll post a script to trade Gadi_OBV breakout by itself.

gg do we need to have any settings for VWAP indicator to be used with gadi system ?

what settings are u using for VWAP ?

I have always believed that Gadi_OBV ​​has many more uses than just channel breakout. In the last weeks I have been working seeking other logic as you say and I found quite interesting and reliable the identification of volume levels (no KZ levels) that collectively with MTF direction provide valid and solid entries, mainly in H1 - H4. Some kind of VA "volume action" instead of PA.
May I ask some clue for another kind of logic that you have applied using Gadi_OBV?

Additionally there is a topic that is really interesting in concept and is the Currency Strength indicators where
Gadi_currencies is part. Most of them are MA´s - RSI based (lagging). Recently I found others that their calculation relies on stochastic and MACD (lagging too and inefficient at some point in calculating the price at certain time ranges). My question is if you have interested in OBV based, does it exists? in other words, if OBV it´s a very good vol indi, why not have an Currency Strength indi based in this?

I already explained a few times early on - our EA is a development of some friends and me. I'm not alowed to share code from it.
I can and will share ideas, help to build logic concepts, contribute my code and help in developing an EA that is made on those principals.
That is the main goal of this forum from day 1.

So far I've seen very little cooperation and code/ideas contribution from this forum members.
I've not given up (yet...) and continue to develop those ideas, since my goal is to share very profitable concept for the benefit of all.
I've learned so much, from forums like this one, that I feel obligated to contribute my share in return.

Furthermore - I've been approached by some financial institutions that offered me a "job" in return to stop sharing code and ideas in forums.

To summarize - I'm here to answer any questions, share ideas, contribute in development - but that's require the cooperation from all sides.

As to jusiur question regarding Gadi_OBV & Gadi_Currencies combination:
At last !!! you are on the right track !!
It's not a question of "combining" the two.
The real question should be "where is the money going to" - to which currency? (note "currency" and not "currency pair").

Example: if the EURUSD is going down -
does it mean that the elephants are shifting money to the USD?
does it mean that the elephants are shifting money away from the EUR?
maybe none of the above - the elephants are shifting money towards GOLD or maybe JPY or GBP?

That's the proper way to look at the market.
Forex is a market of currencies - not currency pairs. Currency pairs are the result.
That's why I don't understand traders that are hooked on one pair only. They are missing the whole concept, unless they do see the whole picture and waiting for opportunity on that specific currency pair.
There is no point in trading a "signal" on EURUSD when you know that the elephants money is flowing in the GBP direction.

More on this later on. My fingers hurt...

I've been lurking in the shadows for some time now, watching and learning, taking copious notes.

I thought yes! - confirmation of the of the research track I have been heading down for the last 2 - 3 weeks, so I can hardly wait
for your further teaching on the subject.

I know you have been somewhat frustrated by the lack of co-operation and contribution from forum members. Please know that if
I was any sort of a coder and a lot more knowledgeable about trading than I am, I would be in "boots and all". I've never been a
great "ideas" person. I learn by watching and doing, and that's what I've been doing here.

I, and I'm sure many others who subscribe to your thread are here soaking up every little tidbit of information they can to become successful traders
like yourself. You are for me anyway, my mentor and I hang on to every word you say/type and I'm taking this opportunity of thanking
you for (a) starting this thread and (b), continuing on through your frustration. None of what you teach here is falling on "deaf ears" so
to speak and I am very excited about what you have coming up on the currencies issue.

Again, many, many thanks. You are helping an old guy look forward to his retirement in 5 years. Something I wouldn't be able to do if
I was relying on a government pension!
