Weekly chart...alot of indicision at a level which served as a pretty significant resistance level before...possible reversal as per this time frame..but still unclear...definetly testing this level though...

Box pattern..going sideways... indicative of consolidation...is this correct?

I prefer to trade 4 hr charts coz spikes are not that often compare to smaller time frames.but before taking position i do check out pivot S/R.

And finally my 4hr. chart and the reason behind possibly going long once market opens...

Ascending trendline....bullish engulfing bar....with blue line (daily range) as the area of my first target...with the hopes that It will break that resistance level for further targets...

not bad .. u are on the right track with the analysis ...

i don't follow this pair ... but any way technically speaking .... consolidation (range) is a bit tricky ... may never know what it will do ... can't anticipate how long it will range ... notice the previous uptrend within the range ....it didn't make it to the blue line .. which will be a breakout if it did..... stocastics or w% is useful when in the range ... and yes price action will helps in very short term within the range ... all boils down to risk: reward ratio ...

just a few things that came to mind ....

I think some of this stuff is starting to sink in ....Like I mentioned in an earlier post. I sometimes have moments of clarity where I clearly understand whats going on and then it all turns into a blur and my brain turns to mush....

But every so often I notice the moments of clarity lasting a few extra secs. so will see how this week turns out.

Do you mind me asking what pair you trade and why? The reason being is because allthough I finished in positive last week I think my efforts would be better geared towards sticking to one pair alone, and concentrating my efforts on trying to interpret correctly...

Other than spread, what criterias should I be taking into consideration when choosing one pair alone to concentrate on....

I hear time and time again GU has good volatility but EU seems to be popular as well and the spread is usually lower.

USDJPY :

gee .. never thought of this ... ok , here goes ...

started off with the pair unknowingly ... concentrated on one pair because of lack of time monitoring the charts ... initially concentrated more on TA and on reading charts with UJ... it's in our part of the world ... EURO- have to keep up with too many member countries news .. with USDJPY only 2 countries news, both gaints in their own rights ... better be master of one than jack of all pairs ... etc ...

yes EU is very popular becos of smaller spreads ... it's up to u ...do a thorough check ... first get a good grasp of TA ... focus on a particular timeframe u can afford/suits ur style/personality and be comfortable with ...

Just I trting now to trade with trend channels but Im not sure where I have to entry position... can you help me with advice for this pics (for example) just write hire where you would entry:
The pics are 2X2 I mean 1 chart but of 2 timeframes becouse, this is my next question- is it correct to draw the trend channels on the Daily chart and to looking for entry on 1H, because as you will see the pullback miss on the daily chart, on the 1H pullback its stands (visible)

The pics that are pair - Daily- 1H charts:
(GBP/NZD)
(CHF/JPY)

The other pics, I upload if you can show me when you will entry if you were in my place, becouse im confused where to entry, rule?

Fourth and last ones are nice. That curve in the fourth chart makes for a break above the channel, which may play into at least a partial return to the top the channel. The last chart has a large middle between the upper left and lower right lines, plus a long lead-up in price action to support the upper left line, so it makes a little sense that the lower right line would also be supported.
