Information received since the Federal Open Market Committee met in October suggests that economic activity and employment have continued to expand at a moderate pace in recent months, apart from weather-related disruptions. Although the unemployment rate has declined somewhat since the summer, it remains elevated. Household spending has continued to advance, and the housing sector has shown further signs of improvement, but growth in business fixed investment has slowed. Inflation has been running somewhat below the Committee’s longer-run objective, apart from temporary variations that largely reflect fluctuations ... (full story)

I got all my euro LONGS out.....it has been a long journey from 1.2882....next week eur/usd may sing another tune...but the supposed Mayan's end of the world is coming...some stupid morons may like to do something in the forex market...so I am sitting on the sideline...starting from today 12:30 PM unless eur/usd reaches 1.3515...then you may see me in bear's costume or if eur/usd nose-dives to 1.2582..you won't miss me in eur LONG sleeves...for now I have some Christmas shopping to do...and many thanks to "ALMIGHTY EURO", IT SURELY HAD THE LAST LAUGH for these two days....

I have been saying this all along..US Fed is the US dollar killer....US Fed will not stop until one US dollar buys 0.5 Chinese yuan until then some of children might be working in coal mines in China and Northern Siberia...

The Christmas week is usually "thin" volatile. Price will jump up and down 20-50 pips but usually with no follow up. The days are usually low in ATR.

Actually I am bullish for gold in 2013. I believe gold will still go higher next year, so I'm keeping my long positions as long as I have adequate equity to hold if there is some correction.
