but these bounces off RN does not work out all the time.
there is more to it to determine if that is a 'good' bounce.
it is not so easy simply bounce off RN.

Thanks for your posts you've saved me ( and I'm certain many others) from writing it!

At last common sense has come through and I see the end of the Gibril nonsense.
I 'ignored' him a long time ago. I'm amazed so many fell for it and for so long. His 'clown photo' alone should have made you smile right away!

Every FF thread has a 'Gibril' type character it's amazing how long they last before vanishing... but the sad thing is people fall for it and waste so much of their time and effort.

I guess we'll never know who is running the Gibril thing or why??

was on the road all day and could not do so with my Adnroid tablet...and small chart screen.
Now back home with my usual PC screen and better online connection.

the previous Week low is obvious, so is last Friday' Day low....CONFLUENCE.

newbies must look at W chart and D chart to see the candles ... to understand what I mean when I mention about OHLC of the W and D.
EJ - each bounce up from the W low, RN gives a lower high. Certainly seems like it may go lower, we'll see what US open brings in the way of entry opp's.

Come on guys I have been reading - re-reading this thread for the last month. Today I was going LIVE, and now all this. Please can we give it a rest. Lets trade, there are plenty of good people here, helping each other. So lets put this behind us, and move forward.

don't despair if you do not get this OHLC thingy now.
you may not find a lot of online material on OHLC maybe a few strategies using open and close prices, etc.

Just follow the basic stuff what Loveevery1 taught in this thread. There are enough opportunities to get that 10 to 20 pips per day when you look at the major pairs only.

Mmmmh I "fell" for the common sense posts that Gibril made. Fell or should I say appreciated.

After the event - its easy to shout. Never heard anyone complaining about him/his posts beforehand though. Bottom line the message he often gave was stick to the trend method, which is one of the better ones around. Good advice then, now + going forward.

Further than that who cares. Looking forward to focus on solid trend trades from here.

How can we rely on 4h chart as we all know that different brokers have different look of 4h candles? Different brokers have different starting time, thus if one broker has pin bar, another broker 4h candle may not be still finish for an hour or so and may look totally different once it's closed?

at the time of my post, I was referring to the bounce off the previous Friday Low...which is attention to look for another setup for continuation or reversal.

Hi Roman. Sorry for late answer. There were a couple of pins befor on 800ema/RN. I waited price to broke 800ema and shorted. stop above 10ema.
Also I was expecting price to broke daily s/r area and go at least to previous day low/ Daily 10ema. and actually it did but without me. Maybe stop was to small for that pair

If you have taken it according the rules...please post the chart...if you are feeling very shy to post the losing trades...u dont have to...follow the rules and if you feel that trade dint work...just post and ask the seniors why it dint work....we will be happy to help you with whatever we can....but please dont manipulate it just for the sake of it...

Hi mate,

Yes you are right, different brokers will have different starting times, 4hr candle formation etc. I use gmt+1, this is the platform server times on both the broker platforms I use. This has been fine for me so never really needed to check else where. Also makes sense regards european timing, uk and germany - (barlcays and deutsche are the biggest european players).

For CONSISTENCY, I use only GMT+0 as the start of Day to reference my charts. This also cocincide with Tokyo open everday and there is no Daylights saving (DST) for Tokyo.
The problem we face is with indicators which take into consideration the server time.

If we all stay on M15 chart, the candle count for every H1 candle and H4 candle is the same.

1,2,3,4 [Close] 1,2,3,4 [Close], 1,2,3,4 [Close] 1,2,3,4[Close]
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16 [Close]
This is how I look at my charts.
