I have the same 39 day period different broker, your EMA 200 is over 1.28750 mine is below 1.28500 and that’s just for starts, I would be curious to see the rest of your daily chart if you don’t mind what broker are you using.

DislikedThe difference in emas may be due to different brokers opening times and if a broker counts sunday evening europe time as its own day.
My emas are similar to your first chart. trading emas is not an exact science they are only a guide

DislikedHi, thanks for the reply, I am currently using SmartTradeFX and the candle setups are different Peperstone is more pin bar friendly for one, I am going over different time frames and setups and will try them both for a while, if you don’t mind what broker are you using this will keep me busy for the weekend.

see attach explanation on how you can use MT4 tool to draw lines on your chart.
If you want to use Paintbrush software, you can first open the saved chart and use the Paintbrush tools to draw anything onto your saved chart.
In Paintbrush, there is Help menu which will explains all its features and plus a User guide.
Edit: Note that there is also a Help menu in MT4 where the user duide and features are there for look up.

emmanuel advised us to train our eyes by marking SR zones into our chart. as a lovebee i'm gonna look into my chart history and see what was going on last week on EU to practice for the future. i blended out the EMAs for visualization purposes

I’ve been doing my back testing work as usual over the last couple of weeks and have come across few issues.
I have been trying to evaluate your trading style in terms of entries and exits. As we all know you are able to extract almost the maximum from the overall move. Furthermore, your ability to always pick the right pairs for the extended move is something special.
Having looked at the charts, I’ve made some pointers. Can you please explain to me and others why the charts are inconsistent?
