I use 14period because two weeks of data is enough to illustrate average range.Anything more and you will have more smoothed out ATR which could be off in recent terms.
To me 14 period is more then enough data to see where price fluctuates.
Keep in mind that ADR by itself is just a data and you should utilize that data in conjunction with basic system set up mainly where price is in relation to 10EMA and 200EMA and what direction is the trend....

Thanks Davit and Vntrading. It's easy to show the honesty. Vntrading -- try greenshot.com .. it works and then u can save it into some editing tool (i use MS Paint.. others use better ones, lol). Awesome pips! Congrats!

Below, i have decided to share with u a part of the wall in my office, lol-there is more around..the "fight" with the Arjuna Arrow Indy (4 weeks studying).. the two photos are added manually :=). Pls read the Thread. It helps. And print out what u find important, to make friends with it..to put it into the rear part of your brain..where u dont have to think twice to spot out the right entry candle etc.

EU just messed TP by 0.1 pip LOL, was it done deliberately

AU 7 Dec Trade Management Example using R-Multiple.

With a small initial SL of aboutr 10 pips,
trade could have taken 1R profit and BE by now.

First two GJ trades completed. Miss 800 EMA (yellow dress at the bottom) seems to be very attractive to Mr.PA..lol..he keeps coming back..

This is my AU trade from my Android mobile today. 15M broke MA 200, 1Hr set up. But hit my SL at +1 after running a while. Anyway, happy with that, at least in right direction.
