You are likely right about this being very odd. None of the other EUR crosses correlate this move, not to mention any of the fundamentals.

And this sure looks like heavy consolidation, which should move higher again ?

actually the BCE OMT driven spanish baillout move is a no way out move calling for further bailouts then the euro-zone have all reason to be considered as a solid monetary zone ...
