if European banks (grec bond holders) don t find enough cash to compensate the haircut (marketed as buyback operation at 40 percent face value) it can lead to a Lehman brother style explosion. just because now the Greek bonds worth only 40 percent of there original value and it leave an accountancy gap that threaten the equilibrium between asset and liabilities .

+ ECB says EUR 1.685bln borrowed and EUR 239.44bln deposited with it overnight
