your idea with the envelopes is a great idea... Not everyone can catch on to the system and envelopes or keltner channel can offer somewhat similar visuals.

Is there anyone left here who is still USING the original Oan's 4 hour cog system, would that someone be willing to help me out please? I'm looking for someone who has been trading this system and has had great success with it
I'm only trading with the trend but sometimes the trend goes against me in few hours, what to do, close it?

As I mentioned n the previous post. this is something that you have to learn for yourself, you have to test and test and test until you know the answer that suits your style of trading

But Oan had SUCH a....SPECIFIC approach to this method, hell, he even traded COUNTER trend with success. This is why I ASK. What I'M doing at the moment, go in on the extreme then watch the trend, as SOON as it changes direction....close the trade

Just for the fun of it I thought I'd mention that this guy sees the GBP/USD headed for 1.2675.

You might want to keep a runner if you get short just in case his forecast comes true.

I've got a sell limit order at 1.6295.

I wonder how much we could make if we took every Fx_Pipin type 4 hour pound/$ short??? Half off at 100 pip profit and let the rest run with a +1 stop.

Guys,

Strong UJ bullish unbeatable. Already fire 3 positions for SELL since 10 Jan when COG touch red line, but the candle keep uprising and COG did a new adjustment (shifting).

Should i close all ? (pips = -147 for the first position), if in real account, may be already fired now. Hm...lucky it is still in demo.
But i continue test this.

Note : my stupid action is, taking a counter trend.

Gemini I sure don't know but I think there's a better than good chance that usdjpy will sell off to 86.00 but before hand may touch 90.00.

You're righ Poocher,

1 position was already closed with profit, 2 are running on way (see H1 chart).

The candle is going to 2 EMA support, if that the case, then i close them all.

Hey everyone, I've been watching this thread since it first started. I just started a new thread called "lean mean money making machine" and I incorporated the Center of Gravity indicator in it. But I use the COG in a different way than usual. I use fibonacci lines on every trade I open to determine Take profit and market turning point. Take a look at it, it'll definitely be worth it. I have blown so many accounts trading the center of gravity trying to get the right method. I've used all kind of different settings so I can make it perfect.The sad truth is, you can never completely trust it. I've seen it repaint over 600 pips against me. The method that I developed INSURES you that every trade you enter will give you the best Take Profit, the tightest stoploss and the most accurate turning point. Proper use of this system will generate you very good profits.
