Took the full size LG at 3020 at cashed in at 3038, and the small short because I saw it ranging till US open because the momentum was fading. I wasted about 1/10th of my profit on the trade.

  1. Spain makes formal request for EU bank bailout funds
  2. Seems many (mis)read the headline as Spain sovereign bailout request
  3. EUR/USD driven through stops above 1.3050 &1.3075 (former barriers)
  4. Despite apparently misleading trigger, EUR/USD now has bullish momentum
  5. Stops above 1.3100 barriers and 1.2100 expiries may well attract
  6. Techs will drive buyers and specs are short euros
