This is true. But i would prefer to spend my days smiling under the sun rather than whining about the weather in the snowstorm

i recommend you to stay in northern america especially Canada (ease to do business , reasonable fiscality , low cost of food ,low cost of real estate ... )-Western Europe is not longer a good place to live except if you have enought money to live in switzerland in a town such as zurick
I grew up in Europe.....and now live in Canada 30 years.....yes it is a beautiful country....I have nothing to complain....but there are other factors too....family, weather....

when I was kid we used to have good winter times, snow for over weeks
it was superb. now it is over not any more.
I like cold then hot.
If I would go holiday alone I prefer snow

But i think the location is what has changed our wishes: you have sun all the time (most of the time), and you want snow(winter,cold); i have cold most of the time (6 months snow and blizzard etc, sometimes almost 1M of snow and -30C) and I want sun and warm weather
But. I see what you mean and i think also that if I would have a lot of sun and warm weather all the time i will get bored and want the cold and snow and rain etc back
Specially summer-rain.mmmm.... I love walking in the forest with summer-rain the most enjoyable and beautiful thingBut enough of the wather

I think that way;
think that this is a coffe shop & I visit here often. then one day I came in & call friends to go another coffe shop
this is not fare to the place.
so even if I will do it I should do it outside.
I may be wrong but this is my way

i spend most of my time in France and travel a lot across Europe and i see the economical and social climate getting worst and worst
i am currently in Vancouver and it s a real pleasure to see that people are friendly with each other , setting up a company is easy the climate is OK even if it s rain very often here .
