for me the best ones were

if i entered on 5m bollinger with a 7 pip stop today, i would never have got stopped out except for TWO times

every 5m touch would have give at least 8-13 pips


i need to give it more respect, i stopped giving it respect because i thought it was "too popular" of an indicator... but i realize its popularity doesnt matter at all in reducing its effectiveness

when trader recognize it MKT changes

there are many systems @ FF threads
every day a new one creating
the reason is;
an experienced trader brain can reslove MKT behaviour after sometime & creates a system accordingly.
system works for sometimes then dies.
then a new system comes out with another trader due this time he resolve the MKT behaviour.

yes see the chart and tell me you would not have had over 50+ profit today

if you used 15 pip stop you only get stopped out once today

only time it doesn't work is during heavy trend (when BB is expanding)

its no coincidence that divergence often happens near the bollinger bottom or top

im constantly back testing so if you were to make an EA for this, id love to test it out

however, i was talking manual entries, but an EA might do an okay job

there is no blind system that works that well, i can agree with that.

but today anyway, it would have made a huge amount of pips.


problem with EA is, it may keep entering on a BB touch, even when market is trending heavy and BB is expanding. thats difference between manual trader and EA

ability to recognize when system is good (choppy market) and when it is not good
