simple option barrier at 1.29000 - option driven move are probable in low volume environement 1.29 option expired now (all traders who bet a US session to start above 1.29 loose their money) Expiration was at us open hour and with the US out, it s easier for a strong hand to move the market.

This could range in the channel also. Most Probably it will do that.
And i didn't say i'm short
My morning first post was that i am not going to trade today, because had a very intense day at work, and i found this PA not normal.
Got my weekly target from the first 3 days this week so it was acceptable and afforable for me Too greedy is not good

Top of the Morning Room: I have to admit, there's a fundamental lesson I've yet to learn as a trader and its killing me:
Watching your profit turn into a loss.

Then, when you take the next trade, you take premature profits just in case the same thing doesn't happen again, only to watch price move +20-30 more pips...

This action i've yet to master. Anyone can relate?

I think most of us can relate Early exit-late exit. One on the biggest probs.

i agree with you completely.... that is very true... but my advice is just to wait for monday when the greece issue is resolved, then u can see some good profits...

trading is 10 percent trading strategy 20 percent money management and 70 percent psychology.

the solution to that problem might be 1st trust your trading system because of proven accuracy of its trading signal 2) focus on the money management ( fixed lot size , practice with microlots as often as possible is good to gain in confidence) 3) the exit strategy must be considered as far more important than the entry policy 4) when you trade focus on the strategy entry/exit and MM and try to consider money as an abstract thing , think in pip not in $ it will help to manage your emotions during equity DD

aeortrade, thank you for those words... you actually right.. thinkin in terms of pip... and we should try trading on a certain goal... if we get 20 pips and thats what we wanted, we take the profits, and not care about whether it continues or not, as there are many trades and dependin on your lot size, 20 pips per entry can give you quite some profits in the long run....

think trading for the long haul is the best way to gain experience in trading , until know exactly when to take risk or when to stay away the market don t think to go full time. there is no shortcut in trading ,

by the way i recommend to use Pivot indicator for newbies in Intraday trading it give a good idea of what volatility could be in order to adapt your target and stop to the volatility)
