  • Shares rise, investors hope for Greece progress

    World shares advanced modestly on Wednesday as policymakers in Europe reassured markets that a deal on releasing emergency aid to Greece was close, while a cease-fire in the Middle East further boosted optimism. Gains were limited going into the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday, however, as the failure of European lenders to come to an agreement on Greece kept investors cautious. Trading was extremely light ahead of the U.S. trading holiday on Thursday. Euro zone finance ministers, the International Monetary Fund and the European Central Bank will gather again on Monday, after nearly 12 hours of talks overnight in Brussels ... (full story)

Thin trading condition tomorrow...I wouldn't be surprised to see a big rally on e/u to take out a lot of stops for those of you shorting euro. It may not happen either...but I'm not going to be one bit surprised if it does!

Especially when 62% of traders are short e/u on FF and
60% are short here http://fxtrade.oanda.com/analysis/ . I'm sure it similiar to that on other brokers books too.

Looks like the move up is already starting. First it needs to break 1.2850(I don't think that will be a problem) and then 1.2900 and 1.2950 before you can think about 1.3000. But this looks like your typical "thin" holiday trading market conditions so it's easy for dealers to push price around and take out all the stops or margin call the retail traders. So many people want to trade against the trend...they think "oh, it's gone high enough...or it's due for a correction." Well, that's when price just keeps going against them and BAM...Blow account!

You got it Sir! All the negativity....majority of retailers short euro...yet price is going up? And people wonder why I typically post trades that go against the majority traders???

I've reached into the conclusion that 1% risk means that we're talking for mini lots. Now guess who has proof that connected account buying 0.5 lots @ 2852, SL @ 2822 few moments after that post and went to bed laughing all the way?

Before Christmas is Thanksgiving. I wanted to thank my indicators by at least trying to give something back but tradition demands stuffing a turkey and watch something like this:
