I scalp usually, but also trade D1 last 6 months.
When i set my TP about 50 pips, i usually have a D1 hit ratio about 80 % and all is fine.
Every time i get too greedy of to self confident and try 100 oder 150 pips, my hr sinks to 50 %
btw. 10k ?? i think 8 from 10 here in the FF have a account smaler that 1000 $

My experience over the last 4 years:
trading for 15-30 pip swings is the most reliable, the best way to trade, when you are aiming for consistency. Such moves are most of the time quiet good "predictable".
Higher targets makes , at least most of us, and here I have to include myself strongly, to victims of our perception and greed. In such a process there is so much hopium involved.......

The catch here is scalping with consistency combined with the fear factor.. I would venture to guess that most trader are not cut out to be scalpers even though the common misconception that its an "easy low risk" trading method.. yes, the dream of turning 2K into a few digits again is what lure all the new blood into this business.. Trading is hard enough without trying to micro manage a small account..

Looks like very bearish close on day candle USDX.. i am think ing it will go at least to 2 green lines marked on candle.. an area that also is .618% maj range,.. just my opn of course

As we can see we are in a channel.
This looks like it might go higher but while I was making an analysis, the price started to drop just at the top of the channel. If the channel is respected we could see it all way down to 2750 level again, but have in mind that we are having a thanksgiving day so the market would possibly be thinner than usual.
We need to watch 2865 and 2885 for short trades and 2820 and 2800 for a possible long trade. Break of 2785 and 2750 is gonna be retested.
