im in the trades - when i say 'look at' please do not just enter etc - but more so the setup for notes...i'll post the trades once closed....will be closing soon....ive only recently added extra pairs to trade - been good when majors have been range bound.

Took this short trade on EUR/AUD. It seems to tick all the boxes for me. Any help/comments?

GBP/JPY short: +17 (CT setup)

EUR/AUD short: +9 (range break)

Not seeing much follow through on the setups this morning. Maybe best to stay on the side until US now.

Hi Shorted euro at the arrow from 1.2772 after the inverted hammer, it failed to break resistance on 1H TF. Away from 72 and 800 EMA on 4HR.
+8 pips floating.

GJ BE trade ...... miss tp by 3 pips...

Entry H4 cant close abv 129.500 (strong R) since open...

H1 < ema10

M15 cross dn ema10, retest ema10 fail. Entry at the candle close

Hi - i just posted where i entered which was the initial break. For me if i had not entered on that break and waited for some pullback - i would actually wait for the possible retest of the 800ema (since its so close to the 10ema). This is just for this instance. However, your retest idea i believe is correct. (Note liquidity is low leading into european lunch period)

Hi Aryary,

On higher TF, it seems to have tested and bounced of the MA.

On the M15, it ranged between the 200 and 800 and finally broke through on the down side and retraced with a pin bar and TDI bounce/cross. I guess i should have waited for the test of the 10EMA for confirmation.

That's my newbie view on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi...,

Yes retest of the 10ema is best entry - this allows for tighter stops etc. Take a look at some of Xhale12's chart examples - look at the entries - always spot on.

Trades today on eu are kind of tricky.

This is a bounce of 800ema, risk is 4 pips. Lets see how it goes.

Missed re-entry after pullback on aususd.

IMO, EU h4 trend is upward, but because holiday is coming, market momentum is very low. So avoid trading maybe a good idea.
Find your edge, make your system, stick to it.

EC short trade..

Setup: Started watching at H4 doji above 10 EMA, entry as PA broke below the support.
Classic M15 entry by the book : below 200 and 800 EMA, below Fhr pivot, target next 10 EMA (weekly and Support line drawn from H1 TF).
Exit at target. +18 pips.

Took this long on E/J.
I hope everything is on place based on the system.

Reasons:

1)Yesterday Low
2)4 Hr 10 EMA
3)Overall trend is up

Red arrow is my entry candle and thick blue line is 10 ema on M15 EJ
Any problems?
