Trying to understand your lesson Gibril! Thanks so much for taking time out of your trading schedule to teach us!

I think shorting earlier would have made it difficult to set a proper stoploss, making the trade too risky. The pin formation at the entry confirmed that buyers were too weak and stoploss could be set to be very small.

The H1 TF had not yet shown its hand. I was waiting for confirmation on the H1 timeframe before dropping down to M15 for possible entry.

In 15M TF, you wait for PULLBACK.... then re-enter seeing the correct PA ( Candle) or bounce of 10 EMA or PB.

And they try to observe it when it is not necessary to do it!!!!!

Constant observing the profit/loss in any open position makes you feel now satisfaction then disappointment. And as prices change very fast, as a result, you will be very tired (worn out) with all these moral affections. And further come mistakes: you see entry signals in those places where there aren’t any, you start to feel as “it seems…”, you close your position early or vice versa you hold the position for more losses…. And this list of mistakes can be prolonged…

I even have different chart look from yours.

The trade would have been good on the read arrow but 50ema is right below it.

So a break of 50ema and pull back to 10ema right?

Just to share the chart, Took a long trade on AU, +12 pips, I tp before it hit the 800EMA.

Wise words. Here is a good indicator I recommend. X-Man shared this with me, all credit belongs to him.

It will show your profit in pips on the chart for those of you who tend to overly focus on $$$ amounts gained and lost with open positions.

Here are 3 practical ways to solve this issue. I don’t tell you to do it but it’s only advice!!!

1) Move to a higher TF.

I know that it is no so easy as it sounds. It is not so interesting to trade on daily or 4hr tf rather than “scalping” on min. TF. But when you move to higher TF you eliminate the need to constantly observe the chart and by doing it you decrease the amount of emotional stress. Because on HTF’s you don’t need to check your charts every 5 minutes, only 15 -20 min is enough once a day…

Though, there are people who even if they trade a daily tf want to check the intraday price… Nothing will change if they look at it…..

Another way to decrease emotional stress is to set a daily target. You need to set up a kind of limit, let’s say 20 pips a day, and as soon as you make these 20 pips you close your terminal and forget about it till next trading day. This kind of approach can be very useful, because you limit your time in front of the charts, thus you reduce emotional pressure. Besides profit limits you should also have limits for LOSS, in order when you reach one of the limits you have to quit trading for the day no matter was it profit limit or loss limit just STOP and have a rest till next trading day….
