Identifyy HLHH, LHLL, etc patterns
Major S/R levels and
OHLC of previous day and previous week( got this one from emmanuel)
Red News Indicator( Though I honestly don't ever seem to need it!)

Assange, do I need to discard anything else?

You've been a real help to some( and especially Winwinfx! lol!)
I understand what Assange is trying to achieve. (Not to confuse Newbies), which is highly desirable and commendable!
We are all ccoming from so many different trading backgrounds and experiences, and there really is no 'right' or 'wrong',
just different methods, strategies and ways of achieving the same result! Even Gibril uses Pivots, Fibs, etc. I know Arjun doesn't,
So the issue is really more about not confusing Newbies and helping struggling traders than anything else. Please stay! We really are one family...and hopefully we can also add 'big,happy'?...Keep posting Pkimnyc! But like you often do...warn Newbies about sticking to the basic rules, so as not to get confused! Love you!

MA can't anticipate NEWS,Sentiment,Order Flow etc.
MA's are reflection of past data what already has transpired.It is imperative to get a broader general view of the markets example latest Japan news rocking Yen pairs and that came while MA's were still lagging behind.
Each is own but one can't ignore the outside world.

Any pro trader that understands the forex market can tell, from your posts/comments, that you are among the few in FF that knows what he's talking about. I scroll through this thread every day just looking for your market comments.

Many of us will appreciate it if you continue to post/comment.

and I am sure that i am slowly beginning to understand the whole picture day by day.
My main point was I just wanted to say I didn't know which to vote.

I enjoyed your charts in their simplicity.I also wish you to stay.Your contributions are valuable.
This thread is clear from page one what is expected rest is up to newbie.
Different ideas make this thread richer not poorer. I noticed lot of senior posters drawing trend lines on their charts.Is that bad? Not really, its part of technical trading.Knowing Trend lines can't hurt but only enhance trading.
I think making things easy for newbies on the expanse of trading efficiency is wrong.We all know trading is much more then TDI and MA's so lets not pretend one can use TDI and MA's alone and make millions.
Its the underlining principles what makes one trader successful and the other not so I suggest honesty.Why not tell the newbies it takes lot more work then simply TDI and MA's..

This note I took from Gibril post gew pages back. Unless you read this in contex of DOJI and EMAs, you will understand how Arjun's Method works.....Because Gibril knows how it works...BUT couldn't explain it in full as limited vocabulary

Doji in contrx with EMA

1. Telling you there is indecision - the buyers and sellers have met and cannot agree on anything.

2. It does NOT tell you of a possible direction change.

3. Sellers closing their shorts (profit taking) and others coming in to sell and some to buy.

4. It is doing nothing more than taking a rest - it is NOT a price reversal bar


Read the above and try to make sense with this Chart attached using Arjun's orignal method. Tell me if Gibril say it differently.... becase he try to help others to make things simple.............

Unless you want to make your trading more complicated than it should be.......lol

I bet you watched lot of martial arts movies when student did nothing but chop wood for a year.Or sushi chef washing rice for 3yrs before even allowing cutting a fish.
My point is you have to put the work.YOU and nobody else.What comes easy people don't appreciate.Heck I did not take trading seriously until I lost 50% of my hard earned money.
It is my firm believe fish that are meant to spawn upstream will overcome the obstacles and others perhaps trading was not their calling because they showed it by their laziness and eventual failure.
I don't mean you but this is important.One must want it bad to succeed.

SIDE NOTES

Those thin lines..brown and light green are weekly pivot.


You can use ANY indicator as you wish............If you're good at it ...why not.


BUT........ at least have a decency to put 10 EMA, 50EMA, 200EMA, 800EMA in your charts and explaining to Newbies WHY Candle reacted to those EMAs..... ( by the way.... those price are sitting on top of weekly Pivot)
