Dislikedfirst of all, thank you very much for this thread. I have completed first 200 pages of TAF and now I am getting a lot of valuable insights from this perfect thread (right know on page 129, still long way to go I guess :-)). I am also doing "small" dances on my real account with mixed success, hopefully it will get better over time.

I am having problems with deciding what to do with a scout in problems - when to kill him (and sometimes flip) and when to rescue him. How do you guys decide which option to choose? Do you only rely on price action to tell you? E.g. I guess it is better to kill a scout when I sense strong change in direction...

Sometimes I kind of feel that my direction is probably right and I decide to rescue the scout. Because of my normal job I can only trade during second half of US session when usually volatility drops significantly => because of this lower volatility my rescues are definitely not swift and usually last few hours which is not good. Do you think it would be better for me to kill scouts more often and to try to "dance" with more flexibility to get better use of...Ignored
Disliked[size=3]Yes it’s still a long long long way to go and there is no short cut to this. You have to burn out calories and spend more time learning. Read TAF and watch your chart spend time understanding TAF thread and focus not only fti’s but also to other contributors there where there’s heaps of gold nuggets – you just need to really find them. “it will get better over time” … yes and no… depends on what you’re up to J[font=Calibri] : yes because you are right it will but no because...Ignored
