when it gap open conventional Pıvot calculation fails.
due it uses last close.
Pivot = (yesterday High + yesterday Low + yesterday Close) / 3

woddie Pıvot works better with Gap Open
calculation;
Wodie Pivot = (yesterday High + yesterday Low + (2 x Open)) / 4

but for me again 2740/46 is the key level

The tip is, wait for midnight. The range will be in place by then. Then on break if range is very narrow trade might be taken with very small risk high reward in this situation. I might add the last position this way
