this weekend I decided to add daily,weekly,monthly pivots to my code.
( daily,weekly,monthly supports & resistances also added but it gets really messy when all set on )
what I see is they are more likely the fundumental levels rather then the technical levels. ( but they all same all over the world regarding to the rollover time )

will check this week how those will effect my trading.

I am posting this with 5 years of experience & thousands of Back & Forward Tests results.

There is no system that generate profit in Trading on its own.
Believe it or not.

for any system, what is good for Shorting it now is good for Long after minutes/Hours/Days...........

Had coded thousands of different EA s to test & find the most reasonable stystem. yes thousands. different trading systems , MM ...........

my conclusion is;
- Indicators are totaly uselles. %100
what is printed with any indicator on chart is printed due it happend that way.
next time it will not.
- there is only one thing MKT using in common is the fractals.
- any system that is not including fractals WILL not work for long period.
- with using fractals;
a- Trend lines
b- Support / Resistance
c- EW
d- Fıbo
e- Channels
can be created. additionally antoher common tool is Pıvots.

MKT trades those all or some of them at the same with different TF.

yes I traded with 1 Min clean chart for a long time. but at some point it hunts you. no way out.

Price does not want to move out of S/R leves. just like us. when we driving a car we would like drive it on the roads.

for price S/R is the side roads & Channels are the highways.

beak out and moving in a S/R less area is not normal price action as it happens max %30 with a manuplation.

so for trading we should use side roads & highways to find our way.

when trading with those we need the turn points. this can be done with EW.
EW is the curves of highways same as on regular highways we drive.

so when/if a trader bring all those data togather on multi TF then will start see roads highways exits curves.

then making desecions will be more easy.

summeryis;
- S/R => sideways
- TL & Channles => Highways
- Fibo => Levels
- Pivots => Fundumental Anaylses
- EW => Reversals

Sounds good. THen I have to implement fractals on my charts. That's what I'm missing. I wonder how diferent it will look after I add them...

EW is the most complicated one. as it builds the curves.
but others can be easly applied & used.

Excellent post man! I agree 99% except MA's which are not totally useless depending how to use them.
I actually use them. First thing people need to understand what MA's, EMA's and so forth are. Statistical averages...

I actually hope we are moving into down channel for e/u... and the further down the better! Where is my damn 1000 pips?

Regarding EWs, I know guys who are excellent great with using EWs in their trading. i actually know one guy who has not lost a trade since February using this method. It is really a great tool for knowing when to enter and when to exit and what to expect. all those abc and first to fifth waves but I cannot get it yet.

exactly, we can use them as s/r and as a point of reference.
actually in many cases we have a trouble drawing TLs and there is none... but MA's in this case can be more reliable in determining when trend is changing. this is actually one of the methods I use to enter trades. they also can be used for stops.

the issue with MA is
when using TL s there is not needed a period.
it comes with its own connections & creates its own period when created.

with MA s trader stuck in fix periods.

I had long entry on gbp/jpy which I was bitching about on Friday. The one I closed... the entry was a bounce from ema. no DD whatsoever. pin bar formed on daily and price shot up 200 pips from my entry.

yes, not easy. i must have got something about EW's somewhere in my Books folder. But for me it looks like hopeless. Cannot get it. But it definitely works. a lot of things work. I cannot be into everything.
