I'm not one to talk about being away from this board. I've been trading but spent about a year off this site.

So maybe he's in another dimension, maybe he's taking time off. Whatever it is, I hope he's well.

Yes. making money from this market is very simple. You need to have proper knowledge and experience. With your knowledge and experience, you can make a profitable plan and make money from this risky market easily.

Yes it looks simple but in practical it's not that simple. Even a trader with good strategy can not make consistent profit because of psychological barriers. So it needs time to achieve discipline.

I agree it is hard to make money through trading and harder still to make it consistently. Good knowledge and experience increase your chances of being profitable but there is no guarantee of success.

There's nothing simple about trading, many people think it just takes a little effort and time, but it's not. It's not enough to spend 10 hours of your time and think you'll get better. You need to approach it wisely and develop without thinking about the time spent. The most effective method of development is to trade on a demo account. If you spend enough time developing your trading strategy and building proper risk management, you will achieve much more success in trading than just by reading training materials. I also recommend opening an account with small investments and trading with small amounts of money. At least by trading with real money, you will learn to manage your emotions and thus be more stable in future trading.

You are right. People really have this misconception about forex trading that they can get rich through it quickly however the reality is much different. It requires as much effort, patience and skill as any other profession or money making way.

making money is extremely simple if you can make sure some inevitable part of human habit m most important is making focus and discipline , if you have two then in real life of course you will be profitable.

Along with knowledge we need to know how apply the knowledge effectively. Many people have good knowledge but can't apply it due to emotions. We are psychologically vulnerable to the market. It takes a lot of time to be strong psychologically.

At the very least a couple % a month is reasonable.

Think of it like this, 1% of $5,000.00 is $50.

So getting a consistent $50 a week is a very reasonable thing. I average about $500 a month at least.

I tend to have about a 3 out of 4 success rate. Cut your losing trades fast and let your winning trades run.
