I use pepperstone and one of my friends uses the demo, he has experienced a few problems with demo, but I have to say my live account rarely experiences problems and execution seems to be very quick (for mt4). I am very happy with them.


I have to add that your doing a great job here helping others, best wishes to you and your family.

nope but have been comparing bid/ask qoutes, open and close... seem 1 pip accross the board and right now... euro got 0.8 pip spread... and exiting is quick... no slippage...

that's in normal condition...

need to try on high vola and news releases although seldom got positions on those conditions...

been running it against a couple of other well known aus brokers and spread is often half of the others....spread is particularly good in aussie

I heard the 'one click' EA slows the platform and may have other issues, so I completely removed mine, just a though that it may be part of the demo problems on pepperstone your experiencing.


The only other thing I am not completely happy with is they charge you to deposit money with them.

yes....i think you are right...the hangups seem to be due to the ea at times

ibfx ea is better in that regard

just spoke to live chat and there is no charge for internet transfer from bank to bank

I have an indy that will put the tick value and spread in small letters at the top left of your charts if you want it, you can see the spread changing without having to look at the market market watch panel, it does not slow the platform at all.

just took the pepperstone ea off and time frame changes on charts really fast....thanks for that tip
