I already requested that in my "horizontal lines" indicator requirements.
...no coders to do that...
G.
DislikedHey G,
Its not that the coders are not working on this. If you look back to earlier pages of the thread, I did post a picture with "Work In Progress" for an indi to meet your suggestions.
Anyways, Last weekend I had some time and revisted that indi.
So far this is what I have. But am not satisfied.
Cheers

Dislikedmiddleastern,
i tried v1 again on a few currency pairs....the ea fired eurjpy buy, gbpusd buy, usdchf sell...which was correct since the gadi obv was breaking upwards for ej n gu , n downwards for usdchf.
the funny thing is for eur/usd, it fired a sell, when the gadi obv was breaking up.
so all 3 other pairs worked accordingly but not for eurusd. i just cant figure it out. driving me nuts..lol...but i can see the potential in this ea..it really enters very early on the break so stops can be tight.Ignored
Dislikedi have questions, i use a 5 digit broker. will the breakout happen +/- 10 points on the indicator? or +/- 100 points? The YELLOW LINE is +/- 10 points. The RED line is +/- 100 points. Which is correct? thanksIgnored

Dislikedfxprotrader & middleastern,
Attached is the "Reason" why you got a SELL signal on the EURUSD (M5).
You will not be able to see it on a higher TF because it will show you the "close" and not what happened just before that.
Hence the need for some "proportional" volume (a fraction of percent) above and below the channel.
This also demonstrate the need to eliminate the "only one trade" feature of the EA. You can take a very small loss and a very large profit on the other side of the breakout.

Dislikedok G,
so u mean we cant use the ea on h1 gadi obv becos in lower time frames like m5 there might be a spike beyond the h1 gadi obv channel which cannot be seen on h1?
ok in this case, why not we simply switch to the m5? so we use 12x8 bars 96 m5 bars to mark out the asian range, we allow for 1 buy and 1 sell per currency pair everytime the channel is breached. this way , the breakout will be way more accurate. what do u think G n Middleastern?Ignored
DislikedI would have entered on both of the vertical lines and managed to get some decent pips.Ignored
Dislikedtixy,
I don't see the H1 or M5 "Channel" on Gadi_OBV on your posted charts.
Maybe I'm missing something or you are doing something wrong.

DislikedMy apologies. Here are the channels together with a ccfp indie which I've tried adjust to mirror your Gadi-Currencies. I use this for backtestingIgnored
