good insight, how did you analyze the orders on table by candle? I did not analyze the market in that point of view before.

Well basically that spike down on that candle would have consumed any remaining buy orders, otherwise price wouldn't have got that far down.

Sam Sieden does a good job of explaining this, well worth checking out all his videos on fxstreet.

do you have 2 different trades open ... if so may I ask which one was the first .. and do you use individual 6 pips SL or on the average ?

Hi C-12

Just stopped by to wish you luck with this I am a big fan of Sam Sieden and although I dont use the Supply and Demand zones on its own I do use it as a indicator to decide if I should enter a trade or not. They are much more reliable that traditional support and resistance.

Anyway good luck and I will call in now and again.

No, I usually just have the one position open at a time but I'm happy to go long and then short straight after if the levels are good.

Update on the last trade. Stopped out. I thought the level should have been good for at least 6 pips but price chopped around the level and then fell through my stops. It happens.

I handle it just by being aware of it. That's it really.

I mean I don't want to be placing trades bang on an announcements where spreads and movements get crazy and stuff. I prefer to watch and wait for price to arrive at my levels and see what the reaction is.

Hard to say really. Most of my trades I'm risking just under 2% across 2 positions and I don't like to have more than a couple of trades open at once. No more than 5% at a guess.

I don't have a hard % figure on this. Probably something I should do.

Here's a good reason to display the M1 chart even if you don't want to trade the levels.

Look at the M5 and it's not too clear what price is doing (It looks like a flag pattern... ).

On the M1 you can clearly see price reacting to supply & demand levels. Rather than watching and waiting for a flag to break you could already have an open position for a potential break lower with a great low risk entry.

Price could break north but the worst case is a BE stopout..
