just another quick reply.
This is because i dont like to see my brothers osing their hard earned money.
A trader should do extensive research before even going with any broker
See if they have met all the legal requirements etc.
A trader should try to go with an ECN broker rather than a market makers.

You see maker makers bet against you in the trades you take. so if you lose they make money and if you win they lose money.
They dont like losing. No one likes to lose. so what you think they will do to win?

ECN broker does not bet against you....

Hi Xman

Perfect with what u say.

If u lose coz of wrong trades, ok u have to bear it.

What if somebody snatches money fm u ?

Better to pay commissions than to get cheated.

100% agree.

Thanks

just want to empahsize the use of R and R-multiple to measure the trade results.
A trading system peformance can be meausred by Expectancy which is calculated using this R multiples.

hi,

i got three PMs regarding trendlines last night. PLEASE post your questions in the thread and participate (don't worry, i won't post names lol).

first of all, i am one of the biggest LOVEBEES around here so please don't just accept what i say but think about it critically.

maybe some of the experienced traders can give us a view on the following too?

Here is how is see it:

Trendlines

"In their most basic form, an uptrend line is drawn along the bottom of easily identifiable support areas (valleys). In a downtrend, the trend line is drawn along the top of easily identifiable resistance areas (peaks)."

(babypips)

I started drawing these on H4 on daily levels. This is because Arjun taught us that higher time frames can take out the lower ones. Thus we need to look at higher time frames to identify the trend and look for entries on M15.

The lines I draw are in accordance with the quotation from babypips.
As you will see on my chart below there is no guarantee that the trendline will hold or be respected. We don't just enter if we see that price is stuck at a trendline. In fact, when it's stuck around there it could mean that no more resistance/support is at the trendline, meaning it could break.

I speak so much about them already, it seems that they are important...

My brother here put it down well last night:

in regards to trendlines... i wouldn't be too crazy about it.

They are not magical. Just illustrative.
If you can apply them with the other tools you learnt from this thread then use them if you'd like to. They help me. This doesn't mean they will help everyone.

They're subjective, often there are more than two trendlines on my chart pointing in the same direction.
Where does this leave us? Forex is not an exact sciene...

GU H4 chart attached

peace and love
steph

P.S.: i don't mean to offend anyone and feel free to send me PMs like this but contribute to the thread. this will benefit you more because there are GOOD traders in here. not like me buddies...i mean really good traders. take as much as you can from their limited presence. don't take it for granted

Thanks for the replies . It's good to get a proper straight answer once in a while... often here I only get (yet) another riddle.

I do recall these post and I'm working through the whole thread again.

Many thanks

Do you also remember this

That is why we cannot do without this. The more you can do the analysis with different tool on higher time frame the better you will be as a trader.

Remember we still use the basic setup to enter the trade. We don't jump the gun but with much of experience you will start feeling the market.

Nice weekend

Dear All,

I am just another lost soul that is trying to make money in forex and somehow I wasn't succeeding so far. Then I found you guys. I am still learning and by learning I mean that I am studying this thread and charts for up to 14 hours per day. I am basically breathing forex and the best thing about it is that I don't feel exhausted at all. It is a wonderful thing to work on something that brings you joy and hopefully also some money at the end of the day.

This thread is truly blessed, not only with incredibly successful traders, but also...

You have a very good system to follow, provided that one have tifht discipline in executing trades.

As for the Charity part, I agree to contribute to the unfortunate.

Therefore to proof your system is easy to follow and giving charity to unfortunate people, I have trained school drop-out in my village to do trading ( live account) from the profit I made.

1) If this boy ( 13 years school drop-out) can make money from this simple system, I doubt anyone here cannot.
2) The profit from trading that account will...

Dear Assange

While going thru the thread, found this:

OMG is it possible to train a 13 year old to teach this ? If yes, really everyone in the thread MUST make successful trades.

This way u have said so much to encourage so many.

All the best for this noble thought.

Please tell what is the current status of this boy.

Hey Rorieu..

Yes, it's best you go to the start of the thread and also keep reading the newer posts that come along as well..I know it's a bit of a daunting task as I am a slow reader and at times I feel I'm not catching up but after a couple of weeks of doing this I'm starting to get it and I'm glad I've done just that as I can see the potential and have done tiny live trades in between with more wins than losses so very happy about that to, so actually seeing the ideas working while reading is great..

I know what you mean about the riddles as I to was a tiny frustrated trying to understand Arjun and Gibril (sorry guys! )..but now after going through this thread and Gibril's slowly, very slowly lol..they ROCK!!..the knowledge I'm getting from them after finally getting use to there way of teaching us is truly astounding..
Sorry I can't forget all the other awesome helpers in these threads as they are all great people X-Man, Pip26, emmanuel7788, etc, the list goes on..

So do yourself a huge favor and go through the thread and grin and bare it because before you know it you'll be saying "why didn't I just do this in the first place"...you will truly be glad you did it as it is a jigsaw puzzle that is slowly put together bit by bit

Cheers,
Adrian

don't get to fussed about them as I feel if you were to trade with them make sure you plot them on the higher TF's also put on the clear obvious TL's that are so obvious that a child would see them and the big boys will see them..

At the end of the day I feel horizontal S/R levels with PA will always be the winner and trendlines work as a good confluence mainly if using obvious lines that every one can see on the higher TF's..

Cheers,
Adrian

here's the problem with tl.

example: obvious bounce at the tl on daily chart.
according to tl, long trades were much more favorable... but the result?

Hi,

Attached charts of my Big Picture plan for AU week 43.

I see two important price levels seen on W1 TF.
Also last week D closed looks like a good 3-bar bearish setup for NY open. But I will wait and see what the weekend gap would be like.
For intraday trading, stick to your 10EMA on all TFs but observe the H4 candles open/close and also the D open/close.

Will try provide daily update next week.

Trade Well!
