For those of you who'd like to use an old PC or a notebook as a monitor on your main PC, have a look at http://www.maxivista.com/ it's a relatively cheap bit of software, but the PC's need to be networked. Can also behave as a KVM switch.

BTW, I have 3 x 19" LCD screens.
I'm a bit behind the Technology curve here

The CPU in the first pic is being bluetooth modified. the batterries and inverter should be small enough that I can take it anywhere, inside a simple Wal-Mart shopping cart.

The peripherals have no need for power but the screen gets fuzzy after 4 or 5 beers!

Jesse didn't have the "peripherals". He would "float" a position out there to see how the market reacted! I try to remember that when I am checking out the latest "Fibonaci,parabolic sartainable, bollinger and orange squeezing disgronificator"

This is of course Bravo Sierra, but if Jim Hearndon were to post a picture of his first system you would find a newspaper, graph paper, pencils and a ruler on a kitchen table.......probably lots of eraser shavings too! AND THAT WOULD BE TRUE!

Pretty damn humbling when you think of all the advatages we have and take for granted....................It's a brave new world!

Yes, I just finished reading again Livermore's book and his words and ablilities were/are humbling indeed. What a mind and also what a tragic waste...

No doubt he was an expert tape reader, it's his money management "bet the farm" approach at times when he thought he was right I didn't agree with.

I picked up a 19" lcd last black Friday for dirt cheap. I plan on doing the same this year. I have dual monitors at work and when I get home I feel handicapped.
