By the way, may i know could it be possibility have duplicate ticket number scenario? Even i don't think there is a chance of duplicate in either open with open or close with close pools. But how about open order duplicate with closed order?

as this EA is BUY but i want to change it with SELL only don't want to BUY.

the other setting should remain same like do average in profit.

Bottomless wonders spring from simple rules, which are repeated without end
I am looking for what I would think to be a very simple alert but i have not been able to find it any where so far.

I do not really use moving averages in my trading system but if the price gets too far away from them then I like to wait until the price gets back before I look to trade again.

Therefore I am looking for a way to alert me by phone/email/etc when the price has touched or crossed a specified moving average on mt4. I do not want it to place any trades or anything, just a simple alert

In looking around I have not found anything that does this per se. I have seen "moving average crossover" alerts but I am not looking for a MA crossover. Just simply when the price touches or goes beyond the moving average.

Is anybody able to help with this?

so i want it to start with SELL and then if market go down X pip then it SELL another with in multiple with X and so on......and put TP of reverse average of all trade...and if market go UP then put X pip SL

the EA already has the SELL order function, you should try to backtest it with a different setting. like change the indicator label to RSI and see if you still have problems. keep in mind this ea is from 2005 and for 4 digit, non ecn brokers. there are plenty of other working martingale ea's around

I need to add ABC labels to a zigzag indicator in order to represent ABC extensions, there are some rules for the labels.

In order to draw (A)

X A B C.


(A) its Higher than (X)
(B) is Lower than (A) and Higher than (X)
(C) is Higher than (A)

Then
(A) its Lower than (X)
(B) is Higer than (A) and Lower than (X)
(C) is Lower than (A)

Could someone help this?

I have an EA with backtesting problem, it seem like not responding/stop in the beginning of test (Mt4 is not hang) because i opened the visual chart, i could see it stop at the point there. But this EA works fine during live trading. I have checked the historical data and tester journal, no problem at all. Historical data is 1M, tester journal shows nothing errors, backtest other EA is working.

No idea why? Is this a bug?

I don't get you about "on line 34", is this error? The progress green bar is just stop in halfway in beginning of test after i click start. Meanwhile open the visual chart while in backtesting, it stop at there.. Is this code error? I don't think so because it work fine in live trading.

I actually have an Indicator, which was programmed for me a few years back.
It basically exports ASCII data from the server to my Hard disk, from any chart that has the indicator attached, including intraday.
It works just fine.
I have a problem with Sunday data though, on dayly charts I donīt want any Sunday data, it distorts some Fibonacci time calculations I do with othere software where I insert the imported data.
Question, can you fix this indicator to automatically ignore Sundays while exporting to my hard drive?
I will be happy to pay for the job.

i'm saying you have provided almost no information.

check the p/l tab and see if it ran out of money and stopped. other than that...

nothing obvious jumps out at me, but the formatting is atrocious and not as easy to read as it could be, and as per every bit of code i see in this joint there isn't bracketing where there really should be.

i tested it and got nothing but ordersend errors for whatever specific broker setup that is causing this on my rig, and i can't be arsed stuffing with it just to test it out.

again, check your graph tab and see if it didn't just run out of money and give up. that's my first guess for why it would quit half-way.

I think each traders have their own way to see coding format. I could read easily. Haha... of course because coded by myself. I put //---1A and //---1B in coding to give me understand that this is a complete open and close curly bracket. This code has 2 void functions which are separated by //=====

I have tested different broker, seem like it generates error for the "ordersend" due to pricing issue(entry,stop loss and target price). Some brokers 4 decimals and some are not. I will fix this.

However, when i backtest, i have assigned initial deposit to highest amount. And my code entry lot is 1. Which does not change anything/problem still remain. So it it not the issue of run out of money .....
