I am neither buying nor selling regarding the recent developments in this thread. I remain neutral until the thread owner shows up here to clear the cloud hanging over us. As others have mentioned, best advice is to stay focussed on PipEasy's teachings and go on with your lives, make some money and donate some to whatever charity you support.

I was one of those who supported Graeme when he announced his desire to publish his book and his motives were questioned by some. I still doubt Graeme has to offer anything more than what he has already shared painstakingly with us at no cost.

I would however caution readers to think twice before sharing their home address to get a free copy of the book mailed to you whenever it comes out (if you choose to preserve your own privacy/identity)

Yep... that post has been very close to my heart as that is exactly what I did throughout the 90s when I started trading stocks and IRA investing in high tech companies. I only bought shares of companies I was consulting with at that time who were wiling to pay over $300+ per hour for my services.

Since earlier this year, I have a demo simulation going on with the exact same strategy that I want to implement in a Self-Directed IRA (for US citizens and treat my annual retirement contribution as cash flow). Things are looking very promising and soon I would be moving towards putting a portion of my retirement towards FX.

40 standard lots per position for all his 180+ positions? Has Graeme ever shown or shared his real account statement from FXCM with you Yon? Just make sure this isn't a typo as this does not add up at all. He presumably started with under $1M capital and at some point he mentioned having some $7M+ towards floating equity.

180 positions equates to 7200 standard lots in open positions each @ $10/pip or total of $72,000/pip of Account Volatility per tick! If this is true, then he is indeed the Wizard of ALL market wizards !

Assuming if he has about $10M in his account, it would take only a net pip movement of 138 pips to wipe out his account.

Assuming if he has about $100M in his account, it would take only a net pip movement of 1380 pips to wipe out his account.

With these stats, I bet he could not have survived the SNB intervention
Perhaps I am too tired today to think this through

He also mentioned spending 5-6 hours a day on FX trading considering himself to be a full time trader. If I were so successful in Real Estate and Hostile takeovers, I would never EVER glue my ass in front of the computer flipping and starring at charts and putting cellphone alerts to buzz in the middle of the night.

Excellent post Yon. Thanks for sharing your perspective on MM. I will post some questions/concerns tomorrow as it is past midnight for me. I am also curious to learn more about your edge in risk management. I always considered risk as a key ingredient to becoming a professional trader and not so much as an 'edge' (unless you are referring to low risk entries and the common junk you see on forums about fixed risk/reward).

I will also share what I have in my trading plan mostly from my experience and from what I have learnt in this thread from Graeme to have some further discussion after MM. Not sure why but I find myself frequently revisiting/tweaking these two sections (MM and RM) of my trading plan :-(

Hi Vee,

You make a very good point regarding your calculations. Lets just begin with an illustration. When a mathematics teacher gives the same math problem to 2 different students, but 2 different answers are given, you have 2 possibilities. Either both are wrong or AT LEAST one of them is wrong. If someone claims thats BOTH can be right then such instances are situations where each student did not give the complete answer.

Now based on the above illustration, if you hear two conflicting stories from two different people then usually you end up rejecting both stories and your bias leads to believing one of them. There are times where there are some half truths in the stories told.

Now a person with a genuine interest in this thread would try to learn something about trading that Sun Woo has shared with others. But once he left the scene, there were posts of doubt about him not keeping his word and so forth. I just come here to speak truth.

Now to address your issue of the 40 standard lot size. Now from my knowledge, he does intraday trading(gregwilson style) on FXCM and position trades on OANDA. I only found this thread out by accident because his choice of words in this thread as well as his charts displayed in this thread had the same layout that I was given. My reading of the thread was up to the Flying Buddha method with the name Joe. I found out about the Marion thing after I finished reading this thread.

Now before I met him in person late April, the only information I had at the time was that the trades that he used to post on www.kppfinance.com (http://www.kppfinance.com) had trades of such a size. So I asked him: "What size you use for your position trading?" and his response was: "Same as my intraday, I won't trade any bigger".

So it is most likely that in his early stages of trading, He wouldn't have traded such a size, even if he does now as a pro trader. So even if it is true that he has 180+ positions across all pairs, its likely that not all of them are 40 standard lots.

He also told me that he doesn't need charts anymore. All he needs is the "closing price of every second 4 hour chart". I am not a pro trader so I have yet to comprehend this statement.

Since last year, he is working on a construction project (around 120 apartments according to him) in New Zealand, it is a big project so I doubt he will stay glued onto the screen to trade.

PS. About Joe and his flying buddha. Since I did not know about the other name "Marion" at the time, I asked him where he met that Flying Buddha dude. Sun Woo's response was that he met him at a trader conference when he himself was already an established trader. If this story is true, then the only other possibility is that the name Marion was made up since too many novice traders diverted their attention towards the entry/exit method of the flying buddha rather than realize the importance of infinite yield.

To me it is too much personal information to be a legend for a much younger person, who should be too busy...
Once the book is released, lets find out what name he will use as the author. Perhaps that will settle the issue.

I will be happy to share as the time goes by. I am glad that you are one of the successful cases in terms of benefiting from this thread.

When I met Sun Woo late April, he initially denied that he was pipEASY until I checkmated him with all his ideas and concepts he told me randomly along the way. If he chooses to deny it here then, lets see what happens.

Also, the content here is way beyond what I was told by him since the stuff I was told were bit and pieces too difficult for me to fully comprehend as I was in the early stages of learning to trade last year.

He also stated that starting this thread was one of his biggest regrets. I find it ironic because people like you Vee are actually successful cases from this thread. I hope I am too oneday.

I asked him whether his regret was due to the sheer frustrations he had answering questions both here and in PMs. I am very aware of the frustrations he will go through because last year I used to ask him stupid questions like:

"How do you personally enter and exit with bollinger bands as indicated on your charts?"

"Dont you end up blowing your account instantly if you maximize leverage?Because if Korean stocks allowed such a leverage of like 1000:1, then a 1 tick move will wipe your account instantly"

So imagine gettings hundreds of PM's everyday with questions, even if they are not as stupid as the ones I asked. One of the questions that bothered him were something similar to:

"I followed your thread and did exactly as you taught but I have lost nearly all my capital before being able to create legs that survive long enough to grow my equity, what am I doing wrong?"

So I am sure there are some traders here guilty of asking him a question somewhere along these lines. Personally I think the question is quite sensible. It addresses the issue of both MM and RM.

Novice traders look for perfect entries and exits to make money as fast as possible. But really they should first learn how to keep their account alive for as long as possible by minimizing drawdowns. Only MM and RM can solve this issue.

This is all turning into a farce. My Bullshit Meter is off the charts again over this "Yon Seo" "character".

I was put down by some here for previous comments concerning "Graham", and now that those all turned out to be correct, I can only say that the sudden emergence of "Yon" leaves me humorously speechless - it's almost fun to see this guy at work.

In one fell swoop, a guy with no posts comes in, exonerates the previous guru, revives the thread and adopts his mantle!!

You people here who STILL want to "believe" in all this garbage are being laughed at - and laughed at hard.

Yon is even easier to see through than the Graham persona was. Yon is setting himself up to be the new mentor in these parts, and I suspect he is very close to Graham, if you know what I mean... Just watch and see....

Nothing you are reading is real, and you are a fool to even address these posters with any kind of respect or "awe", as some here do.

Perhaps you were right about some aspects but that does not mean you are right all the time. The same principle applies for everyone else. So lets review your claims.

I could claim that I am more real than you are because you are using a pseudonym just like pipEASY. I am not.

You are right that my persona can be clearly seen. Thats what makes me different to pipEASY. Oh and I am not a pro "FOREX" trader while he is a so called "guru" according to your definition. I will contend that EVERY single person who has seriously read this thread has more experience in FOREX than I have, unless you started trading after May 2012.

As for laughing. The only thing that made me laugh was your post. Simply due to your high level of skepticism. The way you worded it was quite hilarious.

As for respect. That is up to the individual. I will treat other participants in this forum with respect regardless.

So yes just watch and see as truth unfolds...

For mine, nothing that you've said changes how I feel about all of this, and I've got far better things to do than get in any way tied up in it.

I just felt for Hanselfx, and wanted to express my feelings. I couldn't care a whisker for anyone who listens to either the most artificial persona I've seen here (Graham), or the least experienced (you).

Graeme, whoever he is, described his trading method, like all the other hundreds of posters do in the Trading Systems thread and then left the scene, like all the other hundreds of posters do.

The method is free to all so what is everybody's problem regarding the identity, lifestyle and capital of the author? Who the f... cares about his flowers and everything else?

Understand the method, discard the things you don't like, apply it and be done with it.

From what i see Pip Easy has never shown any live trades or results or is account statement. I wonder why so many believed him? Because he sounded like authority?
The right thing he was repeating is to not to have targets. Only stop loss to milk trend to the fullest. I also wonder why so many people want to have guru to guide them?
