I saw you mentioned that the EA only works on demo account in your first post.
Does this mean that if I want to test this strategy with a live account, the EA will not work, and I will need to place all orders manually?

Yes that is correct assessment. It just means that the creator (XLI.. see first page) is "protecting" the code of this EA. The code may be protected for various reasons. Sometimes because the EA's creator is planing to make it , in the future, a commercial EA (i.e. sell it for profit). In this case I am guessing that it is done for the purposes of reliable test results (at least at this stage). The creator does not want to allow "testers" to change / manipulate the code. If someone changes the code and the creator (and other testers too) does not know about it then the final result of testing is useless because nobody knows what is being tested for real. Except for the person that changed the EA's code. So in the end results of testing would be misleading.
If anyone wants to test this EA on LIVE acc. go ahead and try it. It may still work ... I do not know I have not tried it. But keep in mind, that even if it works, it may not be working properly. Just my opinion.

Demo on Alpary UK.
No trades on Monday - EA malfunction
Test on 4 Pairs:
GBPUSD, EURUSD, GBPJPY, EURJPY
Settings:
Time 3-8 & 12-12 Eastern time (New York time zone).
ALL other settings as per default (orig. settings).
Results: see attached (Note - testing on DEMO acc.)
All week was on losing side. Friday saved the week (approx. +$250).
So I will continue testing next week as well.

If u used trailing stop your graph would have looked different. WHAT WE NEDD IS AUTO TRALING STOP. I MANUALLY PUT TRALING STOP.

BUT as soon as i load the EA into the chart, it shows"EA is suspended as Daily Profit Target met", evenif i turn the parameter"SuspendEAafterProfitClose" into "false". can anyone explain this to me?

This is your brand new demo account. the deposit is treated as your profit for the day. Set Daily Profit greater than your Deposit, it will work for now. Next day just reset your daily Profit.

Thanx Goldfinger. Can you elaborate , more details on the "rules" of your TSL i.e. when (how far is your trade into +) do you activate / apply TSL? Any other details you can share...??
Do you turn the EA OFF as soon as TSL kicks in OR any problems with TSL functioning while EA keeps going (and the other way around - no problems with EA?)... etc.??
I use TSL in my trading quite frequently.
I am interested in real outcome of the EA as is. I mean as much of the real outcome as you can get using it on DEMO only.
So that is why I just set pairs that I would normally consider to trade on Live acc., I set the trading hours of this EA and I let it go for a few weeks.
I am not really watching it work unless it starts giving problems or I am trying to see some function of the EA to perform. Other then that I look at it at the end of the session.
Please do tell off your approach using TSL ... it is a valid idea, that I know. Perhaps XLI will think so too if you explain it and will implement it in next version.
Some EA's got function that is commonly called "Trail After" I would not mind to see function like that in this EA. After given number of +pips or +$$ is locked the "Trail After" begins to trail either in given pre-set distance or by "jumping" every time more pips are locked (also pre-set).

I am using 21 pips stop 21pips traling stop tp 80 pips. I am trading AU, EU,UJ,GU.
I see hardly anybody still on this thread.
Anyway as posted by me above (pairs and set up) over past 3 weeks testing on Demo this EA lost $81.40.
I am done testing it.
Is it possible to alter the sequence starting price externally instead of current price? Say, buystop beyond a resistance and sellstop below a support instead of fixed gap? I would like to even try positions only above daily open or below it depending on the current price. We should have an edge for our trades to be profitable.
