Now my daily target is 20 pips ($200) and I don't mind if I get there ugly by scrapping out pips. ~Although I prefer runners!

I really need to start being awake for the London open.
Damn i wanted to be in this long but got scared of that supply level just above, oh well I will jump in on pullback.

Have a look on the chart and scroll left. It was an M1 level.

Well price broke out just before the US open with clear sky above. Took the first pullback.

Got slipped a little by the looks of it but it was a fast reaction.

It seems that now pound came to level of demand which was created by the long bull candle..

I do think this is wants to run to the upside. Well if not then I'll take my locked stop (2 pips) and run.

Nope took 15 . stop is on chart but doesn't mean i will let it get hit
this is my 3rd trade on oz this am . also have taken a e/u and a a/j .
just snatch n grab in these market conditions. Plus oz is in a CURRENT uptrend on this 30 min chart
want to hold a running short but need to see a flip. the first short swing come in first. . I may have left a bunch on the table . But .... what can I say.

To be honest I am not the best trade planner . I am a great trade enterer sure that isn't a word. So get in then look for my options. But my needs are few as far as pips per day. I am always working to make my trades longer . and in reality I have not that most would think so. This is why i don't post many trades . as we all have to find what works for us.

I see a lot are using 1 min to scalp. this is find . But others that may try and follow might find themselves in dire straights doing that. it is so easy to look for the next level and justify moving your stop just a bit more on a 1 min chart. It is very important to follow a plan trading that fashion. Then u could even say hay the 5 min has a level only another 10 away. and so forth.

So unless you keep your plan in the fore front. beware. Just as on my earlier post I saw the risk and went in with 1/2 position size . My risk is always in my mind . even if the charts don't show everything.

thank you for the advice. I'm still trying to find the best method for myself. I'm still in this trade and typically i'm holding for 2:1 to 3:1 R/R. This hasn't been working well for me lately though..
I guess psychologically it is difficult for me to find a great level and risk 15-20pips just to make 10-20pips, as i haven't mastered S/D and not yet able to get >50% win rates yet.
Will continue to lurk in this thread and learn from the masters here!

A lot of great Traders I know of . would not even consider my trade a entry . they might take a trade like this but if it doesn't break the first swing 1.0230 they would just let it get stopped out. But if your not allowing the winners to run for days . That style is also different.
That is really the way most should work towards . even the 1 minute guys . the cats meow would be to get in using a 5 pip stop and close with hundreds of pips a week later. but how can you plan that ???

Just let the market give you what it will. Plus even if you take profits quick doesn't mean u can't get back in. if you can pull that off your trading for free the best of all.

if you can pull 60 pips out of a 20 pip range over a few hours . who can say you ain't doing right. The rule remains the same . win more than you lose. that is all . no matter how you can mange it.

Plus fit your life into it all.
