But it certainly helps to have a reference point to be trading from and know what to look for at that reference point. As long as we consistently do that we should have an edge.

That depends on the market cycle. i do agree, it's important to have something to reference to. at the same time, it is also important to keep in mind that in some market conditions, system can work great and some market cycles, they don't. so... going in heavy at 10 ma just for the sake of it is working great can be very dangerous thinking is what i wanted to point out. always stick to the proper money management rules, regardless how great it is working for you. and always be humble before the market. in my short experience with the market, as soon as i thought i figured it out... that's when the market humbled me good... in a very horrific way.

I get your point entirely and would never take anything for granted in the crazy world of trading. I never get carried away with MM and always stick to it no matter how good it seems. The moment you start to think your bigger than the market it will bite you in the ar@* LOL

You took post at pin candle #1 and pin candle #2 and closed both post somewhere near to H4 10ema which is technically logical to me..

but need some comments from you on the trade taken and the chart reading to make my understanding better...
1. why didn't you enter long at pin candle #3? To me it looks like a valid setup, since it has already crossover the 50ema and retested and rejected.

2. This is a CT. What factors made you so confidence to hold the first post eventhough it went against your post (from +18 to -ve) at that point? the candle closed both below 10ema and 50ema right after the pin candle #3..

Hope you as an experience trader, could give me/us some tips on how deal with this situation.. tks a lot..

d.narrow, it's a good question. I'm looking at the same chart and I would've put my sl just a little bit under swing low and it would be a negative trade for me.

by the way what is that indicator you are using with several TFs in separate window?

= 12 day.

Says............15 day......for 8 months..........

This does not include PM.........emails...........chatting.....

I wonder what's the total time you spend to let others to be successful.

Does anyone had difficult time with this Great Man ?


Most importantly.............WHY.......he spend those valuable time for us ?

I closed all the trades at 75% retracement from previous up move. It is possible that down move to continue further, but it was enough for today.

Initial entry based on H4 chart, 2B pattern (description file attached).

If you guys had to choose between trading the first 6 hours of the london opening, or trading the last 5 of the london session and all of the NY session...... which would you choose? I need to decide. I can't do both.
What is any ocean but a multitude of drops?

depends when the setup occurs.

example: last thursdays, took trades at asia, london, ny. each sessions had setups. 2 in asia, 1 in london, 3 in ny. if i remember correctly....

sometimes london session ranges, then go for ny session.

total 6 trades. no sleep...

for the sake of this thread...

15 min chart, price is stuck between 200 and 800 ma. wait for the break out. either side, then look for trade setups would be preferable, imo.

never try to predict the market, unless the market itself is giving you solid hints which direction it will take.

You probably need to update the data. Try right click "refresh", change timeframes or go to history center and download the history data.
