Precisely the reason behind me putting so much on the line last week on GU bro. Had to BEAT that emotion DOWN!! I did!!

Every time we pull the trigger we risk. I don't care how "sure" we are about the trade. This freaking game takes no prisoners...

anyway guys... just for the sake of "what happened, what we would like to happen, and what will happen", here is an USDX chart... rather easy to read.

Not saying its going down... just saying that the bearflag has been broken... possibility of a retest before further down, or it just might not work, but my eyes are over here

man lately ive been reading u, writing about bars at the half of previous bars and so on... any chance to share what is that about????

the index has given way big time charles..dollar isnt even strong..if that picks up..it will be the south train

the 50% of a swing / prominent candle is often tested and often rejected in favour of the trend - higher the TF , the more reliable - have a look at your charts - you will see. Pin bars which have made a new high/low on the day ( thinking i/d here so M5-H4 although works across all TFs) and which cross a previous high/low / S/R which stands out on your chart are also quite likely places of short term reversal / bounce / continuation etc.

I will try to have a look at it but... if u want, can i ask u to point out them, when u see them? its interesting. And by the way... u use it for scalp? or even for longer positions?

yeah was a bit of a stretch! but the fall so far is because the the indexes itself are getting weak...if dollar builds..oh my!!..

anyways early days..

like I said - works on all TFs , so both - but I'm looking at this atm - with 920/30 for support in this consolidation on EU ( last week's real body mid/rejection candle low )

ok.. thanks.. so how do u figure this kind of trade should be taken? on the weekly u place a long at the touch of that level with stop under the previous candle low?

the whole market now can see that it's consolidating - which suggests to me that the level is not as strong as it could be in terms of planning trades on the weekly timeframe itself - the sentiment is mixed. But it should be strong enough in the shorter term - so I would(am) play it with that in mind. I like looking at HTF S/R on the LTF in general

having said all that though - added and bailed -9 pips net. Do not fancy playing hero with this momentum - rt of today's lows with some divergence and I might get back in
