It might be a minor detail, but all the time I thought that initial idea was to have first stop of 50 pips and then trail with 20 pips above/below SMA 100. So 30 pips is also a reliable option?

You are right, I think I have said 50 pips in the past. It depends on the pair and the volatility. Generally speaking you want the stop to be behind a swing high/low so if 30 is enough then use that and if 50 looks better use that. It's not a hard and fast thing.

Hi Hugh,

I`m new to your system. Thank you for it.
Could you please post your latest indicator etc. for the system? Also, the HA candles should be 0 or any other value? I see others sometimes use them with a higher value.

Is there a way to see that HA candles but not on the Japanese ones? Also, not like the MTF indicator you enclosed shows them, but as a secondary chart in the lower indicators area.

Hello, all the indicators are available on the thread. Use the paperclip button in the top right of the page to find all attachments.

I wouldn't use any extra indicators, just stick to the basic ones. Any extras don't improve anything they just take up screen space.

Ok. BDY, is there any way to get subscribed to the Forex daily events? So I could get an email alert for upcoming event like those mentioned in the calendar here.

My trade was closed just now. From entry it went up for a potential +162........... but in line with the rules I remained in the position with SL on close below the 100MA.

Why did the SL EA close my trade? I entered 20 in the buffer. Maybe I should enter 200 since I have 5 digit price?

No, use 20. Was the price below the 100 sma when you bought it or only just moved over? That can happen. Sometimes best to wait for price to close the right side of the ma and then you can open the trade without it shutting it straight down.

1. Why I`m not seeing the bid line? Can`t seem to get it back.
2. There are two indication for my current SL. Which is the correct one: 1 or 2 (enclosed pic)? I didn`t enter either of them. It`s the EA. BDY, 2 is constantly changing but 1 is not.

You should be able to turn it on in the properties box. Right click and it's the option at the bottom.

Hopefully I can add some clarity. Play around with the average true range indicator and you may find a formula that works for your stops based on volatility. Different pairs can have significantly different ATR readings which will affect your stops ie 50 or 30. I find ATR/2 a reasonable stop but you may prefer 100% of ATR suits you better.

A question about the SMA100 in this system. Sometimes the daily show up but the hourly - down. Do I need to look for the same trend in both TFs?

Yes, the daily should give you the direction and then watch for the hourly going in the same direction. If it doesn't then no trade.

Is it possible trade stocks the same way?
If not, do you have at least a good trailing stop method for stocks like your MA100 one?
