Hi Tor,

Don't worry about CT trades until you have mastered trend trading.

If you have mastered trend trading you should be making enough pips not to have to worry about catching counter trend trades.

Thank you for the help Gibril. I see no one has answered your question. I'll give it a shot. I have a feeling some of these are wrong, but it's the only answers I could come up with. Please correct me if that is the case.

1- First higher high on 1h timeframe, indicating we will be looking for possible long entries.

2- 61.8 retracement test and rejection. Go long here on close above 10ema.

3- Breakout of 200, 50, and 10 EMA's. Establish another long.

4- Breakthrough and first touch of 800EMA. Go long.

5- Higher low and rejection at 50 ema. Go long when price closes above 10EMA.

6- Pin bar rejection at 50 EMA, and daily pivot. Go long when price closes above 10 EMA.

I left out two entries out because I could not understand why you entered a long position there. Please let me know if my reasoning is sound.

I have my own way of trading outside of this, but it seems like there is a grey area in the plan and I wondered if anyone had covered it.

This might sound a bit obvious but if you want to get the bigger picture put up a 15m and 4h chart (or what ever combination you want) side by side and see how it reads in stereo.
