You need to have a wider SL (IMO) to trade pre London open, that is how I used to trade, take position and then add to it. 25 pips is not wide enough to allow that you would need a minimum of 40 pips, that is why I have moved to entries after London open.

I agree.Its all a matter of discipline as well.I don't normally trade before London open and I broke the that rule and it has cost me the 25pips.

I will wait for London to print the high or low of the session and and then enter.
Just need patience.

I gather that is what you have paid particular attention to.

Like is said still learning a great deal from you.Thanks for the comments

Indeed it is, which is why I stopped testing those systems, wasn't that there wasn't potential it was just that for 1) I don't like strict systems and 2) don't have the patience.

I also lack patience, my only way to stop trading pre London is to not turn my computer on !!!

Looks like I will have to adopt a similar approach if I cant keep my trigger finger in check in the early mornings. lol

What I am trying to work on a great deal on my R:R as I am right more than I'm wrong but don't need the wrong days to bite me to hard as it is very demoralizing

Not a good sign but will sit tight as this is my last trade before the NFP numbers come out
