natural gas........November contract......was buying the sept around 2.75 but closed and didn't get back in on the rollover
Nov opened up just over $3 and broke a wedge....now up at over $3.40
did a bit of looking and the price may be propped here by a shutdown of a number of nuc plants (supplying electricity) in US and colder than normal weather f/c for midwest.
on the negative side coal is very cheap so may begin to compete with NG
