Following on from my earlier trade were I sold EU (posted earlier today).
In hindsight this would of been a much nicer entry. Lovely pinbar off the 200MA

FEAR....has its own PROs and CONs....It will let you be cautious before taking a trade(ANALYSING)....and at the same time it will let you miss a trade because you over analysed.....somtimes while you are on a trade...it will let you get out early with just 10 pips on the 50 pips running trend.and...

None could say it better.

Take your 10 pips and walk, boldly take your set-ups when you identify them, place your SL, TP and BE orders and at the end of the week or month you'll average hefty profits.

I started trading with the mind set of 100 pips a day and that got me in trouble but like today I've had just 24 and the market may do 300 but I'm okay and at peace important thing is my capital is protected and growing.

Where did you put your SL when you took the trade? I always try and put my SL either above or below a swing high or low and preferably above or blow a RN.

Thanks Pip26, this is the hardest part for me and one I need to work on. I find it very difficult to take 15 pips, when the market looks line it will run on for a lot more, regardless of how many times (like today) i'm proven wrong!

Very true, but i I just posted the hindsight chart for reference, I made 15pips from my original trade, just that the 2nd setup is cleaner.

I set TP at this point because of yesterday, where the price dibbled two times from RN and 800EMA to this mark.

I am aware that certain advnced members have taken off training wheels and pay more attention to the chart vs. if any to TDI.

Is it just me, or has today been tough to trade? I've ended up in the red, albeit if I had taken heed of LE1's big red post recently, I'd have faired much better.

I'd be very interested to hear of any successful trades in today's market.

YOu should have entered at the right spot or should have kept the SL big....i know you dont fall in the zone timing to trade LO...cant help at times my friend...
